Forum:TCG banned!

Uhm is it true that TCG cards shall be banned in the Philippines next year?

Therefore only OCG cards except korean shall allowed?

I need your comments and suggestion..

You should still be able to use TCG cards. Konami's site still says that TCG cards are allowed, as long as you are using card sleeves. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 07:54, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Base on my sources the producer of tournament here said that KONAMI proclaim that next year only OCG crds can be used on major tournaments such as nationals

I hope that will be okay

and is it true that KONAmi will take over TCG based on the expiration of the contract between them and upperdeck?

Ah, here we go. Only Asian-Edition and Japanese (and sometimes Korean) cards were allowed for the Asian Championship 2009.

3.　According to the rule of KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT LTD.，Japanese Version Card, English Version Card and Cards bundled with Game Software are legitimate only if it is officially on sales in or imported into Asia region.

（The following cards is forbidden:　PP　１, ２, ３, ４, ８, １１, Duel Disk and related products, special cards bundled with book by Shueisya, Duel Terminal Specialized Cards）

4. The following cards are allowed in Asian Championship 2009 event:

Korean Version, Japanese Version, Asian English Version.

5. The Official Shop Selection Tournament allow only Japanese Version and Asian English Version.

If you're just playing local tournaments without them being part of the Championship, then you should still be able to use TCG cards, until they say otherwise.
