Would anyone put these cards in their deck!?

these cards alone may not look useful, but there are combos that exist with them. the broken bamboo sword may not be really good, but gift card can be deadly. there's Bad Reaction to Simochi and Nurse reficule that turns heal (increase lp) to burn (decrease). imagine ur opponent gives you three "gift" cards but depleting your lp instantly... 3000 X3 Jetronix 06:13, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

you are right: those are the stupidest cards EVER!!! you could use the 2nd 1 if you were throwing the match...

the bamboo sword is used with other cards to not only power up the monster it's equipped with (double attack/1000 atk) but you can also draw 2 cards with another card. remember, it's not always that bad to have a card that doesn't help you. You could always have an ETERNAL REST in your deck.

Wow, these cards are lame

Gift Card can be useful if you have Megamorph.



Neither card is worthless. Gift card is great if your doing a bad reaction burn deck. And broken bambo sword splashes well into equip becks. For me I would say that treasure map is the least useful card. Since to pull off its effect takes too long for too little benefiit.

lol, you can just as well equip Broken Bamboo Sword to a monster your opponent controls, then you can defeat him with almost every monster... Broken Bamboo Sword is a really good card, as you're allowed to equip you opponents monsters too

is that really true? that you can equip your opponents monsters? :O

  • Broken Bamboo Sword is not too useful. It does not make a monster's ATK 0. It adds 0 ATK to it. Good combos with it might be equipping an opponent's monster with it (yeah you can do that) and then activate Eternal Rest. --Darth Covah (Talk|Contribs) 11:42, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Most "Broken Bamboo Sword" combos mentioned above can be performed with Equip Spell Cards that actually do something. But "Bamboo Sword" Equip Spells are needed to use "Soul Devouring Bamboo Sword" and "Golden Bamboo Sword". Well if you want to give an opponent a humiliating defeat (I don't usually do this unless the opponent has given me one in the past) put out this card than do a quick move that takes away the given life points and the rest!--Blueyeyesawesomedragon 03:29, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Bamboo when three are on field and you activate golden bamboo sword you can draw 6 cards. Great for Exodia Decks. And Gift Card is a given in an anti-cure deck

Umm, I do think that they can both used very nicely in a Battle Mania OTK OTK deck, or Nightmare Archfiends OTK, you can also use both of them, Astral Barrier and Rainbow Life and gain massive LP...BassNettoHikari2...Talk to me... 21:57, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
