Hello, and welcome to Vairon. For those of you who do not follow the OCG, the Vairons (or "Vylons") are a series of creamy inorganic sky demons with comically over-sized limbs. They gain effects from being equipped with Equip Cards, which seems like a punch in the gut at first glance because Equip-based Archetypes are considered slow.

Vair

Indeed they are. Thus, this Deck is more focused at aspects of control than straight aggression. Curiosity is as welcome as advice.

Just a comment, Dragunity aren't slow, they're Tier 1, as for Morphtronics, they aren't equip based archtype unless "u'r doin' it 'rong"

Anyway, I'd drop the Vairon Hapto for Nova Summoner due to Hapto not having that great an effect, Also, I'd drop the Mage Power & Metalsilver Armor due to them being too fragile. In addition, I can't see Vairon Matter being consistant at 3, when you only have 3 targets for it in the first place. When I look at Vairon Element i can see that it could be a deck in itself, so perhaps someways to destroy your own stuff as well, such as... Release Restraint Wave?, that's just what I can see from a glance, but I've not used them myself

Dragunity is excellent in the OCG. My point was that they're slow in the TCG and most people only know that format. Also, you've never played a good Equip Morphtronic Deck?
At any rate, "Release Restraint Wave" is kind of redundant. "Book of Moon" will be activated anyway and block the effect, "Enemy Controller" rarely gets Set anymore, and "Mystical Space Typhoon" generally targets "Royal Decree" first, not that there's much to do about that. I'll consider it. For destroying Equip Cards, I'd prefer a good ol'-fashioned MST. It confers no benefit, but I don't have to hit myself if there's a better target.
"Mage Power" is just an ATK-buffing card. It doesn't replace itself, certainly, but it gets big fast. As for "Metalsilver Armor" it has a few uses, like blocking "Honest", several Blackwings, and "Monster Reborn".
I don't understand the bit about "Vairon Matter". It can use any Equip Spell Card, not just "Vairon" ones, and they comprise one-fifth of the Deck.
I thought "Vairon Hapto" was pretty good. It makes quick Synchro Summons and has nice ATK. Do you mean that it has few good targets or that it has obscene drawbacks? Nova Summoner/Shining Angel are all right.
I think I'll replace "Mage Power", then. Suggestions? Also, what are your opinions on "Ohm" and my Tuner/Material balance?

Honest doesn't target, BTW. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 20:30, February 3, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h

I have played against a 'good' morphtronic equip deck, however, there is no need for it be morphtronics, a salvo-dad equip deck would have more power & speed, while still being the same concept, while a non-equip morphtronic deck is alot better, In addition, Disaster Dragunity is pretty fast in TCG atm, as we've got Dux, Phalanx, & Vajriana, which are all the deck really uses anyway, so just waiting on Canyon.

for Vairon Matter, it just doesn't seem worth it, you have to draw through too many equip spells, then you have to draw through them again, so just a faster way to get out Power Tool Dragon would be nice,

As for Hapto, I mis-judged it, I was looking at another one at same time, & mixed up stats, but it might be worth it at 2,

For Ohm, it just feels like another reason you don't need Matter :p, but the effect is decent enough, though you might want to consider some Axe of Foolishness, for either of its 3 effects, As for Material/Tuner, I can't say, as I can't test it to see how often your spells get popped :3-Resk (talkcontribs)

The focused "Element" Deck contains "Geafried". Let your imagination flow.
"Honest" doesn't target? Problematic, indeed. I wonder how I can deal with it under "Royal Decree". I know "Half Shut" works, but it's kind of...No, wait, "Half Shut" works terrifically with "Stella". Maybe. If you think I should run "Hapto" at 2, that's what I'll do.
Getting PTD out is a high priority, along with spamming Mr. Monk. The usual method is to use "Summoner Monk" or "Vairon Element" to get "Hapto" out, then send "Stella" onto the field. Perhaps "Valhalla", "Celestial Transformation", or "Mist Body" would be in order?
I don't care what "Axe of Fools" does. I'm putting that in, right now. Look at that face! How could you not love that face?
