- My strategy is with the use of Arcana Force cards. You see, I'm always sure to play XVIII - The Moon with
tails effect, so I can give the monster's control to someone else. That way, I can pass Lightsworn monsters to the opponent, monsters who force the opponent to throw away his deck. Combine it with cards like Gravekeeper's Servant, and destructing cards like Torrential Tribute and Sakuretsu Armor, and the opponent runs out of monsters most of the time. Cards like Solar Ray help me damage the opponent, and if it gets tough, I summon Ex - The Dark Ruler to finish him off.
What's your strategy? User:Thunderpole --ThunderPole 19:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- With my current D.D. Deck, I stall using a combination of either Macro Cosmos, Banisher of the Light or Banisher of the Radiance along with D.D. Survivor, D.D. Scout Plane and D.D. Borderline while I remove the opponent's cards from play. Then I slowly biuld up the damage using D.D. Dynamite and Graverobber's Retribution. KazilDarkeye 19:39, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Using the Dark Emperor Structure deck, are we? User:Thunderpole 21:48, 20 June 2008
- Nope. The Dark Emperor is cool, but he has no place in my deck. His place is in my Dark Deck. KazilDarkeye 20:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I mean the Dark Emperor Structure deck. It focuses mainly on removing cards from play, and it has lots of cards you mentioned. Macro Cosmos, Banisher of Radiance, D.D. Survivor, D.D. Scout Plane and D.D. Dynamite. --ThunderPole 20:21, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, of course I use that...

"I play D.D.R!" "I thought we were playing Yu-Gi-Oh!" KazilDarkeye 21:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I use a "Dark" Deck also, mostly fiends and zombies though. The main strategy is to easily summon powerful monsters to overwhelm the opponent quickly (IE Invader of Darkness, Despair from the Dark, The Creator and Caius the Shadow Monarch). Baccus78 20:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, Caius is the rarest card in the Dark Emperor deck. Though my rarest card is Arcana Force Ex - The Dark Ruler. And it seems I'm one of the few that prefer Light over Dark. --ThunderPole 20:50, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, I played for a few years but I got out of the game about a year ago. I'm just now getting back into it.
SO, that said, I got rid of a lot of my cards so I'm building them back up. I'm building an Exodia deck, hence my username. SO, THAT said, my strategy is to thin my deck very quickly and get cards to search out my exodia pieces. Since I run 3 Emissary of the afterlife, I have to make sure I use my Sangan NOT to get a leg or arm, but the head piece b/c that can't be searched with EotA. I have a lot of searcher/helper cards to get draw power and to get pieces in my hand. I have a .lot so I probably won't need them all to win.

I kind of use a monster lock down. My deck isn't quite complete and I'm still messing with some stuff (to help me go here: http://yugioh.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:Yubel_Rush_Deck&t=20080620183900 ) but mainly it uses Yubel-Terror Incarnate to scare off the opponent from playing monsters, then getting easy direct attacks with my normal summon monsters. Since the deck is almost entirely dark, this feeds my graveyard quickly with dark monsters, I then summon Darknight Parshath for the final blow.Slinky O 02:45, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
My deck is another DD Deck, though this one is a bit different. It uses DD Survivor and DD Scout Plane as reusable tribute fodder for my Monarchs, and also for Enemy Controller so I can tribute the opponent's monsters for the Monarchs and still be able to get my Planes and Survivors back. Of course, it's still lacking a few things, like Cyber Dragons. I tend to find myself in a lack of monsters to summon without tribute. --Gadjiltron 04:46, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
i use the same tactics like gadjiltron, bur with cyber dragons. I also use a beatdown-burn Fire deck, but still in construction though. better see my page for details. Cybertwin 13:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I've got a lot of decks, but my main is Zombie-Gyon. Simply put, it's Zombie swarm + counter-Gyon. --Pizzaman 22:59, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Since i dont play IRL(only in online games) i have many decks but my favorites are either Batterymen or my Phoenix/Berserk Dragon deck(its on my page). Its simply swarming with lv8 monsters and, since there are many lv8 and they die fast, i can still use Berserk Dragon as an extra power.Teba64 00:08, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Havent Used This but Tell Me What u Think
Im aiming to build a Gladiator Beast deck but using different means then most. My stratagy while reling on my Gladiator Beast related cards also relies on my other monsters effects as follows.
- the combo of Metal Reflect Slime/Raregold Armor/Mist Body to provide exelent defense
- Witch Doctor of Sparta shaves off 500 LP each time a monster is special summoned
- Blast Magican gets a spell counter each time a spell card is activated, these can be removed to destroy one monster on the opponents field.
- Ohka, Come on a no tribute monster THT strong
Any way thats it let me kno wat u think. MajesticGladiator 05:39, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- It looks really handy on paper, but with defense alone, you're not going to get far. Add some strong tribute monsters, like the Monarchs. Sure, Witch Doctor of Sparta may take 500 LP, but you'll have to SS 16 times if you plan to depend on that alone. Otherwise, it's good, but add some offense. --ThunderPole 09:39, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanx ThunderPole,I dont intend to depend one my other monsters they r just there as an extra boost. As far as offense i have some good stuff(i think)feel free to look at my deck if u like. MajesticGladiator 19:08, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I forgot that you were using a GB deck, I thought you were going advanced defence. But adding the Monarchs is still a good idea, you can get one 100 % certain from The Dark Emperor Structure deck, namely Caius the Shadow Monarch. (Yeah, I know, obsession with that deck) But I like Zaborg better, hence my username. --ThunderPole 21:48, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- I hear ya with the username thing(the Majestic part is from Ohka). Speakin of Ohka i get ur suggesting the Monarchs but to me at least Ohka's better, higher DEF and optional non tribute. but i'll look into the monarchs. MajesticGladiator 22:33, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ohka's non-tribute effect is cool, but only lasts for one turn. If Caius is Tribute Summoned succesfully, he can instantly remove a card from play, and if it's a Dark monster, it inflicts 1000 damage too. Those extra DPs are kind of a waste, because with the Monarchs, you won't have to put them in Defense Mode. --ThunderPole 00:02, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- You don't need any tribute monsters for Gladiator Beasts you need to focus on the fusions like Gladiator Beast Heraklinos, and Gladiator Beast Gyzarus so cards you need: Gladiator Beast Darius, Gladiator Beast Bestiari, Gladiator Beast Murmillo , Gladiator Beast Laquari. Elemental Hero Prisma, Test Tiger, and the two fusions of course for spells Cold Wave, and for traps Waboku, Defensive Tactics, and Solemn Judgment. -- Dragon of chaos 21:32, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
cyber crystal
my cyber twin dragon , cyber end dragon, hamon, rainbow dragon, crystal abundance and ruby carbuncles effect with lighting vortex acts as a substitute for crystal abundance makes my deck a force to be reckoned with because magic cylinder and draining shield protect me whilst penguin soldier man eater bug clear my opponents field so my powerful monsters can do damage90.213.101.251 17:01, 28 June 2008 (UTC) melsarceus493
- I've lately swapped back to my old Rat Toolbox deck to allow my friends' decks to reach their full potential in dueling. This deck revolves around summoning of cards that can seize control of the field by removal, bouncing, or removing the target monsters from play. As most of these cards are rather weak, Giant Rat is used to search them out, and Goggle Golem, Caius, and Raiza are present to give the deck some raw power. --Gadjiltron 10:36, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
