Forum:What can this do?

Ok, so I have a new idea. How about we have a little game. Someone picks a relatively unknown card, and everyone thinks up how do make good use of it. As long as someone is with me on this, I'll start with this card: Cú Chulainn the Awakened. Just line your idea under the last person's, and we can (hopefully) get going!

Bashfrog's Idea: So you got a card with 500 attack and 1000 defense. Also, it's a ritual monster. Not since Hungry Burger has a card every been so useless. Actually, I take that back. Hungry Burger was definitely tier one material, so just like that, we will find a use. Any use. My idea is to stick it into a normal monster pendulum deck. Although it won't benefit from the normal pendulums' effects, pendulum summoning which will provide lots of fodder to ritual for him. This is important, as his effect makes up for his general terribleness. With it, he can banish a normal monster in the graveyard to gain attack equal to that monster until the end of your next standby phase. With a whole field of pendulum summoned monsters, and with just 4 levels needed for ritual summon, you can send as little as one to five, giving you versatility in how long you want this joyride to last. So, that's my idea. What's yours? Bashfrog (talkcontribs) 22:57, January 18, 2015 (UTC)Ritualfrog

Challenge Accepted. Armityle the Chaos Phantom.
What can it do? 1 thing and 1 thing only, murder.
Whats stopping it? obscenely difficult summoning conditions of banishing 3 monsters with obscenely difficult summoning conditions
Is that gonna stop me? Hell no.
The solution? PENDULUM! PENDULUM SOLVES EVERYTHING!
How the hell are we gonna pendulum summon 3 friggin lv 10 Nomis? We are not. WE ARE SUMMONING HERO'S!!
USE VANILLA PENDULUMS like Flash Knight, Dragon Horn Hunter and the like. SEARCH them with ROTA, Summoners Art, Fossil dig (for Lancephorhynchus) and Tenki (for Dragoons of Draconia)
How are THEY going to drop it? They are not. they are going to drop 3 Copies of Elemental HERO Prisma that were Searched by ROTA, E emergency call and/or stratos and shadow mist if you play OCG.
Drop the 3 in 1 go, copy the names of the Demons AND LET ARMITYLE DESCEND UPON THEM LIKE AN UNHOLY PLAGUE OF PURE GAME-ENDING AWESOME.
Yes, the Dramatics were necessary.
all of the searching thins out the deck quickly so drawing into the stuff you need shouldn't take long. just don't draw the demons.

Gadjiltron's Idea: Sophia

Sounds fun, let me get in on this. Your task: Make Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth functional. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 02:08, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

I used the power of VANILLA SKITTLES!!! that is to say lv 1-2s
there is a huge amount of support for vanillas and low level vanillas specifically. For example, Enchanting Fitting Room, Tri-Wight and Human-Wave Tactics. so dropping several lv 1-2s in 1 go shouldn't be hard. Sophias summoning conditions require 1 fusion, synchro, xyz and ritual. the xyz and synchro are simple, simply stack for stally goodness like Slacker Magician or Gachi Gachi Gantetsu and sync for the only lv 2 synchro that matters for moar draw, Mist Bird Clausolas for a 2300 wall that enables even the weakest of monsters to down anything and Underworld Fighter Balmung for a simple beater. Flamvell Guard and Galaxy Serpent function as the tuners here.
Worth noting that Numbers 13 & 31 can be easily dropped as a backup plan using this method.
Given that rank 4s seem to be omnipresent, there is a high Chance that the xyz component will be met by most opponents.
now for the harder ones. FUSIONS!
fortunately that just got a shiton easier with First of the Dragons, simply throw in a poly or 2 and hope you draw it or a Fusion sage or whatever poly support you want. Alternatively, or better still in addition to, use Instant Fusion to drop whatever you want. Or you can use a proper Fusion
And now, for the hardest one. Rituals. The Almighty Blue Card.
Assuming you don't get insta-gibbed by them, this would be a nice time to play against Nekroz as they would fulfill the most difficult condition for you. Otherwise there is only 1 Ritual that comes to mind in a deck of low level monsters. Relinquished, who can be summoned no matter what monster you tribute, further putting wimps in the grave to revive with the aforementioned Tri-Wight, can actually function on its own and if nothing else serves as cheap monster removal.
Be sure to build the side deck in a way that you can shift which condition you wish to support, no point in running relinquished if you are up against Nekroz after all.
Just be sure to take a picture of your opponents face when you Drop Sophia on them USING THE TRUE GOD OF THE DUEL TERMINAL WORLD, YOUR LORD AND MASTER MOKEY MOKEY!!
ALL HAIL!!!!
Just to add something, if you pull this off, Apoqliphort Towers can't even stop you. Also, they lose their pendulum engine. Even if it could survive that, which it can't, it can't fight it head on, and literally nothing in the universe can stop Sophia.
NOTHING. AT. ALL.
Just for a second idea, you could try a Spiritual Beast.
They aren't outside of OCG yet, but alongside a Ritual Beast Tamer, they use contact fusion for summons. Plus, I'm pretty sure they benefit from being banished or in the graveyard. That can speed up the deck a bit more.
You can also stick in a Cu Chulainn the Awakened for no reason but to humor me, as it is a low level ritual summon.
Let's be honest though, your idea is better. Bashfrog (talkcontribs) 14:41, January 19, 2015 (UTC)Bashfrog
Now what should MY challenge be....How about
DreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 12:29, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Dread Kaisers Challenge, GOD NEOS!

The Biggest, Baddest and by far the most Awesome and difficult to use HERO. Lets see if someone can come up with things I couldn't DreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 12:29, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Well one option is to just deliberately mill yourself out and go for Miracle Fusion :P I wanna point out that if you Prisma to send 1 thing to the Graveyard, then set the rest of your Hand, SS Bubbleman and go for Lavalval Chain, you have set up yourself for 3 materials in a single turn, provided you can get Miracle Fusion. If you wanna set it up with cards in your Hand though, the best bet would to be to run gigantic amounts of searchers and Graveyard retrieval to make it more plausible that everything would be set up at once. Aeron Solo wuz here (If you wanna talk) 16:21, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

I submit one Number 9: Dyson Sphere and it's chaos counterpart. Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 01:16, January 20, 2015 (UTC)

you can use a combination of Mecha Phantom Beast monsters (like Aerosguin, Hamstrat, and Stealthray) whose levels increase to 9 when their are two Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens and Deep-Space Cruiser IX to get out the two Level 9 monsters needed for the original. After that it is a simple matter of using a rank-up magic card (Argent Chaos Force works best) to get out C9. To help bolster this strategy run some level 9 synchro monsters like Giganticastle, Cloudcastle and Mecha Phantom Beast Jacruslan for more overlay materials. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 01:54, January 20, 2015 (UTC)

yeah thats exactly what i use in my MPB deck for almost this exact reason (the other reason is C6)
whoever made this topic needs a fucking medal, this is fun. not to mention exactly what I do anyway, I love making impractical stuff work
DreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 02:27, January 20, 2015 (UTC)

Ok what about Destructive Draw. Can anyone make it useful? --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:58, January 20, 2015 (UTC)

Use Phantom hand and fuckton of quickplays to empty your hand whenever for extra draw?
there is no way around the damag--err Life loss other then healing it back so Solemn wishes gets you a net gain of 300 life per use of Destructive Draw, so there is that. but since you have to keep your hand empty OR be able to empty it on opponents end phase there isn't much you can do with the extra draw..... Chain Burn maybe?
Actually thats not all that bad for coming off the top of my head, now for the ultimate challenge, or should i Say
DreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 02:16, January 21, 2015 (UTC)

PERFECTLY ULTIMATE CHALLENGE

Gee, i wonder what card i am referring to. aside from the obvious use of Pyroclock how would you support this things summoning, and more importantly, support it once it is finally in play
