Now, what do you think?

since chaos emperor dragon is easily summoned and has such a strong effect, i'd say its the strongest

Pot of Greed

the ability to draw two extra cards can give you a serious and game-winning advantage over your opponent.

Solemn Judgement- ability to negate just about everything at cost of half life points, the yubels if used right, The Wicked Avatar- 100 more attack than anything on the field, Chimeratech Overdragon the list is quite long for strongest cards.

  • Pot of Greed since it replaces itself with another card plus gives you +1 card in hand advantage, if you could use it today it would be so broken allowing you to draw even more cards with all the draw power. In my opinion solemn can backfire if you don't play it carefully--Takuma. 19:24, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
I'd say Graceful Charity, because it allows you to basically move cards from your deck to your hand, then to the graveyard, which could be pretty good set-up for many decks' strategies. OsmiuMap - You have no new messages. 19:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

~Specter (cow_pi) 19:31, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, that's true. XD I completely forgot to add that to my explanation, but yeah, that's a good point. OsmiuMap - You have no new messages. 20:30, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
  • thanks. I think I would agree that Graceful Charity is the better card. Even in a deck that makes no use of cards in the graveyard, the "cost" of discarding is usually worth the extra cards drawn, especially since you only have to discard cards after drawing your three. Even though you only effectively get one card, you get to pick that card from the top three cards of your deck, and have the added bonus of milling your deck a little. If a useful card is in the top three cards of your deck, you add it straight to your hand at the "cost" of sending the other two to the graveyard. if there are no useful cards in your top three , you are now three draw phases closer to something you CAN use. always a good thing.

Stardust Dragon and its assault mode - it can negate almost any effect, spell and trap and also comes back at the end of the turn - get 3 on the field and you can negate anything by sacrificing each of them - and using a spell like messinger of peace to stop attacks user:Sonic0chick0ames 20:56, 16 march 2009 (UTC)

Crush Card Virus - Destroys almost everything for 3 turn. KnightRider25 21:12, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

I don't think I could pick a strongest card, but for Pot of Greed vs Graceful Charity I would go with Pot of Greed. PoG lets you draw 2 cards, no downside, +1 hand advantage(after counting the loss of PoG itself). Graceful Charity, on the other hand, gives you one extra card, but discards 2 leaving you with +0 hand advantage(+3 drawing, -2 discard, -1 the card itself). But, I'm a math geek, so meh. =p Aserik 22:54, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm a mathematical savant, and even I think you're being too literal xD I still think that the advantages and disadvantages depend too much on the situation. In fact, I would say that ANY card being considered "the strongest card ever created" depends on the situation and the deck. I would say that Pot of Greed is a useful card in ANY deck and situation, while Graceful Charity has the potential to be the more useful card in MOST decks and situations. but that's just my opinion, and I'm curious to see where this particular train of thought will end up. (:

  • Actually, you left the most broken card of all time out...Painful Choice. Not only do you thin your deck by 5 cards you choose, but you get to add one in your hand too...think Lightsworns: I choose 3x Wulf, Lightsworn Beast and 2x Necro Gardna...what do you give me? Either way, I get at least 2 free monsters and 1 free attack negation, while I thin my deck by 5 cards and maintain hand advantage... Think pre-banlist Zombies: I choose 3x Mezuki and 2x Plaguespreader Zombie...what's it gonna be? Either way, the opponent is pretty much doomed. No matter what, Painful Choice was, is and will be the most broken card ever. Thank sweet merciful banlist it's Forbidden. --Darth Covah (Talk | Contribs) 22:55, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Exodia, what can beat an instant win? Unless your talking about the most USEFUL card then I would go with Graceful charity or Jar of greed.

  • In response to Specter and Sub; I meant to add in that I also went with Pot because of the Splashability, but you both already pointed it out. Graceful can be useful, depending on the deck, but Pot fits anywhere. My friend runs Graceful in a basic warrior deck and you should how many times he calls Graceful "Painful Choice" because he can never decide what to throw away. But speaking of, I finally decided on the card I think is strongest: Painful Choice. Good call, Darth. Aserik 13:00, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
  • It's gotta be between Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode & Solemn Judgment. Cmon, what other cards can negate pretty much anything the way these two cards do? Also, Raigeki is also worth considering. Just think: Destroys all mosters on YOUR OPPONENT'S side of the Field. Gets rid of all monsters no matter what! Ridiculous!

Dudes, If played correctly, I'd have to say Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes, although I'd also have to say that I particularly feared Yata-Garasu Back when it was legal. If I had a nickel for every time Vennominaga had me at a point in which I had to find a way to over power a 6500 Atk+ Beatstick with magic protection, or for everytime Yata had me in a lockdown, I might have been able to afford Dark Armed Dragon lol. My only consolation is that no one save for a few of my friends use Vennominaga. As for Yata, well, I still have nightmares. User:Kaeruthelegend

Mine?

Well we all know that egyptian god cards are really powerful but arent the strongest.

My thought is 5- Headed Dragon or Dragon Master Knight.

That is just my opinion

yubel

the tree forms of yubel and elemental hero divine neos. but yubel is the strongest

  • Relinquished and stardust dragon. Also Wicked Dreadroot is really strong if used properly.

2 of the strongest and very hack'ed cards ever

TCG - Snipe Hunter: ability to destroy any card by discarding a card and rolling a 2-5 is SOOOOOO rigged. especially if you have a deck that always has a hand. Getting 2-5 is super easy as well, and can really mess up a duel. Good thing its limited...

OCG - Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier: very gay. especially with hand full of cards to remove cards from yoru opponents field. good thing its limited, but personally, i htink it should be banned.

I have to agree with User:Kaeruthelegend. I would have no way of destroying Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes. The only way to get rid of her I can think of, is having Lava Golem in your deck to tribute her. Destroying by battle would be tough thing to do also. Sixth Sense is amazing also. I would pick 5 and 6 every time if I use this card lol.--Xsamuraizx 06:35, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Stardust/Assault

  • It can negate anything it wants, and has 3000 ATK to boot. Solemn? Maybe later in the duel if you only need to stop one card to be home free. Pot of Greed? What? I don't understand that one. Drawing two random cards. Very powerful. Not. Gamebreaking? Nope. Just my opinions. Messengerofthedark 08:52, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Messengerofthedark

For all the people that said Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, even though hard to summon Sky Scourge Norleras can be just as good, if not better, thing of feather of a phoenix, mezuki, plaguespreader, with this card, maybe use it while ancient gear town is on the field, plant food chain? Idk im rambling

what about monster reborn

Painful Choice is a beast, especially in my zombie deck (sold for glads after march list) i use to have usually select 3 Mezukis and 2 Zombie Masters and go to town.--Airbellum 23:49, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Crush Card Virus for sure. - Kingofskullservant

the best

Montage Dragons effect makes it one of the strongest cards around. But the Wicked dread root at 4000 atk & def plus its effect is better i think

pythonsdomain

thereis no knowlage that is not power

what about exodia

Earthbound Immortals

They can attack directly with high attack cannot be an attack target and with field barrier on they're nearly unstoppable.

Haha, I've had this conversation with a lot of duelists, and everyone's opinion is different. I believe it to be Fiber Jar. Think about it, the ability to reset the game (minus RFP cards) with current LP. That's pretty powerful. Vulpine 23:36, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

my choice

I would say the best monster would be Tragoedia. It is extremely easy to get out. Whenever you take battle damage he comes out from your hand to the field. He can also be special summoned from the graveyard with cards like Monster Reborn, The Creator, and The Dark Creator. Its second effect it works a bit like slifer's - "Gains 600 ATK and DEF for every card in your hand" - a hand of 6 cards would have him at 3600 ATK and DEF. Combine that effect with Infinite Cards and its ATK and DEF will easily hit 4200 or more. Its third effect allows you to discard a monster to take control of one of your opponent's monsters of and equal level. This can work well in dark decks or other decks that rely on sending monsters to the graveyard (such as zombie decks). It also gives you field advantage and tribute fodder. Its last effect is probably the best though: "Once per turn, you can select 1 monster in your graveyard; this card's level becomes the same as that monster's, until the End Phase." Being able to control his level not only makes synchro summoning easier but he can be used with cards such as Metamorphosis and Opti-Camouflage Armor. To top it off he's a DARK monster. So he's loaded with DARK support. Unknown Wanderer 18:51, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Raigeki is, in my opinion, the strongest card in the history of ever. Destroy all your opponent's monsters, with no cost and no downside? Frickin' awesome!

Neo-Spacian Grand Mole

  • you guys have got to be kidding me. You all think that Grand Moe/Tragoedia/Montage Dragon/etc. is the most powerful?! Think. What card makes you lose when it's played? There are three cards that have got my spot for the winner of most powerful. Yata Garasu, Chaos Emperor Dragon, and Last Will. --Tantara 16:21, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
