Ok, the summoning and general structure of this cards is fine. But why does Meteo the Matchless have an effect of when this monster directly attack your opponent and reduces their lifepoints to 0 the controller of the cards wins the duel? We all know by taking your opponents lifepoints to 0 allows you to win, unless there are cards which stop this, I don't know? I just wondered what is the point of this effect? thank you for reading

you dont win the duel you win the match thats a game of best 2 out of 3 duels

Yes sorry, I phrased it wrong I ment you win the match but still in a match if you get your opponent down to 0LP you win that match? Regardless of a monsters effect? Thank you for replying

  • A match is three duels (read the links). If you win two of the three duels, you win the match. With "Meteo the Matchless", if you win one duel by attacking directly with him, you automatically win the match, regardless of what happened during the other two duels. --Deus Ex Machina 22:54, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Of course, if the other guy already won both previous duels... there'd be no 3rd match to use this card to win with. This card is only useful if you always win the first round. 97.101.122.41 02:58, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

  • You can still use it if you lose the first round. --Deus Ex Machina 06:55, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Well technically, you can't use it at all since it's illegal. ^.^; There are a number of cards with the same effect. The only one that is legal is "Victory Dragon", but it's Forbidden. Danny Lilithborne 08:30, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
