Forum:What the Future Holds

Okay so with the end of SJC and nationals the 2010 yugioh season is over, save for locals, casual and such. I want to bring attention to the "next big think" in yugioh and I just want to ask everyone what are you takes on ban lists, new tiers, and such. For one I can safely guess that the dreaded Infernity launcher will be limited to 1 if it isn't banned another thing that I believe will prove true is the limiting of Infernity archfiend to at least 2, setting back the nature of today's Infernity decks as an instant synchro. Also X-sabers will remain 1st tier, even without more support they are still very powerful now with every deck running Eblade at, at least 2 along with darksoul and their powerful synchros. But there is one thing that I can assure you, the next meta will be a time of great diversity. GBs are fallback in terms of meta, never being the best but always somewhere in the top 3 teirs. As i said X-sabers will still be big even though they get no new support. With the way the meta is going more diverse forms of past archetypes (BW,LS,) and possibly scrap decks will be on the rise, but with so much new cards becoming extremely available it is hard to foretell exactly. Let me give an example,

Mirror Force will be a common
Gold Sarcophagus will be a Promo in DREV special edition
Chimeratech Fortress, DAD, Vayu, and Battle Fader will be a tin promo

With that on mind I just want to ask the duelists of this forum "what do you think the meta of 2011 will be like, and as of now what is the best thing one can do to prepare" thank you all for your input and I wish everyone good luck whether it be at locals, regionals, nationals or Shonen jump tournies in 2011
