Forum:Which rules should be changed?

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I would like to know which rules should be changed (in your opinion) to help the game play. Here's the first two I came up with:

  • Extended Extra Deck: the Maximum should be raised to 20, as it can proove very difficult to choose the cards of the Extra Deck. An additional five places would be welcome.
  • Limited Amount of LP: I know, it sounds weird, but I hate every card that replenishes LP (especially Draining Shield). It makes the Duel far more tedious and extending over 10000LP is just unfair against the opponent.

Nonsense, 15 is already more than enough. You hardly summon more than 5 extra deck monsters per game anyway. And putting a limit of life gain when it doesn't do anything to the opponent is just silly.

A lager extra deck isnt nonsense. all larger extra deck wouldnt be to summon more monsters, it would be more monsters in your extra to cover a wider variety of situations for that "just in case moment",and this would be especially good in a xyz, synchro, or fusion deck meant for quick summons.F8lfire (talkcontribs) 06:59, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

I personally would like the ability to miss timing on a card effect to be removed. I.e. make "When ...: You can ..." effects works similar to "If ...: You can ..." effects. Because as it is now, it serves only to confuse people, and make some cards unnecessarily weaker than they should be. --Eps01 (talkcontribs) 08:25, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

In my opinion, they should increase that 8000 lp. It's too easy to OTK. No need to create actual OTK's, you just summon and summon and summon and summon and inflict 12000 damage. Of course it's not overly consistent, but when you get the combo and the opponent doesn't draw anything to stop it, the game is just ruined. Most duels take 2-3-4 turns, and I don't think this is a good thing at all. Both players start with 15000 to 20000 life, and OTK-ing is not a joke anymore. You can already prolong the game as it is. Most games for me take around 15 turns, longer if the opponent stalls. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 08:24, December 10, 2013 (UTC)
