what if i use dimension hole on a newly summoned yamata dragon, during my next standby phase, will it still be returned to my hand during turn? tnx^^ so many questions in mind^^DarkJinzo 05:47, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Spirits return to your hand at the end of the turn that they are summoned. Dimensionhole doesn't summon the monster so it stays on the field.Skavinger 15:49, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Yamata And Book of Moon

"Stays on the field?"
In the dimensionhole topic you say that Dimensionhole doesn't summon it so it stays on the field. Meaning, it will never return back to your hand at any of the end phases? It'll sit there until it's destoryed or moved by some other effect?
After it is removed from play by the effect of Dimensionhole, it will remain on the field until something removes it. This is because after the turn that it is removed from play, the other End Phases are not considered as "the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up."-- HHTurtle (Talk) 14:10, July 8, 2010 (UTC)
