Hi people, it is my best interest of Yu-Gi-Oh! wikia which I have picked with people having problem of where they can publish or create fan-fiction stories of Yu-Gi-Oh! so I have created Yu-Gi-Oh! Fanon Wiki which Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia will be hosting it.

Purpose of Yu-Gi-Oh!

Its purpose is it provides a wiki that creative Yu-Gi-Oh! fans can publish their own fanon stories without being worrying about deletion. Users can read the material of other users, suggest changes, or even edit the article to improve it.

Fanon:

Users will providing the namespace "Fanon:" meaning that people who want to write fanon in Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki should begin with Fanon:.

Well, traditionally, I don't think Wikias generally refer users to other Wikias (unless it is to a larger repository of information, such as ZEXAL Wikia to our Wikia). I'm okay with that kind of Wikia, but I'm hesitant whether our Wikia should be advertising it. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 02:40, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

Not just "Fanon:", but also must using their own username to preventing the various conflict between the original (Forum one) and their own storylines. Like my "Judge Rulings" compare to this Wikia's Ruling Articles. --iFredCat 02:56, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

This wikia is for official stuff. Random fan made stuff should go in http://ycm.wikia.com and http://yugiohfanon.wikia.com

That's how they run it. It's not going to be the same for every wikia.

For fan made material, the rule here is: Candidates for speedy deletion, include: Fan made cards, sets, characters etc. which have little notability.

It's much neater to have fan material on another wikia anyways.

Yeah, just use wiki's that are made for that kind of stuff, it helps cut down on clutter here, also, use a link to your fanons to show them to others, and place it on your userpage. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:57, February 16, 2013 (UTC)
