"K Series" is an unofficial name given to a group of nine cards which were offered by Konami to replace counterfeit cards which had been distributed by Upper Deck Entertainment, an action that contributed to the dissolution of the partnership between the companies.

Approximately 600,000 counterfeit copies of nine cards from five sets ("Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" from The Lost Millennium; "Water Dragon" from Elemental Energy; "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" from Enemy of Justice; "Elemental Hero Aqua Neos" from Power of the Duelist; and "Elemental Hero Electrum", "Elemental Hero Mudballman", "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh", "Mist Body", and "White-Horned Dragon" from McDonald's Promotional Cards 2) were printed; "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" and "Elemental Hero Aqua Neos" were printed as Ultimate Rare 1st Edition, "Destiny Hero - Dreadmaster" was printed as Ultra Rare 1st Edition, and "Water Dragon" was printed as Super Rare 1st Edition, while the McDonald's promotional cards were printed as Rare Limited Edition. All of the counterfeit cards used the incorrect silver security foil, and the general print quality was lower, with the ink appearing lighter or washed out compared to legitimate cards. The replacement K Series cards were all Rare Unlimited Edition.

Konami never generally announced the replacement program; only people who called Konami support and asked about the different quality of their cards were informed of the cards' status or the availability of free replacements. The replacement program was also only run for a very short time; these factors meant that very few K Series cards were distributed.
