|Anime debut||Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters episode 1: "Getting Played"|
Kamakiriman is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters anime. It is based on the "Kamakiriman" card. However in-universe, it is said to be related to the otherwise unseen "Kamakiriman" piece in the Capsule Monsters game.
Kamakiriman found Yugi Muto, Téa Gardner and Tristan Taylor while they were chased by a group of Gokibore shortly after entering the World of Capsule Monsters. Yugi then recognized Kamakiriman as a monster from the Capsule Monsters board game. Kamakiriman swung its scythes at the group, causing Yugi to separate from Téa and Tristan. Kamakiriman chased after Yugi, who jumped into a body of water to escape.
After Yugi emerged from the water, Kamakiriman continued to spy on him from the trees. It emerged from hiding and took a swing at Yugi, who switched to Yami Yugi and jumped out of the way. In the process, Yami inadvertently cracked open a capsule, causing Celtic Guardian to emerge. Kamakiriman engaged in battle with Celtic Guardian, eventually resulting in it being sliced in two by Celtic Guardian.
