La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp is a character version of the card "La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp", appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters.
Biography[edit]
La Jinn resided within his lamp, which was placed inside a temple. He emerged from the lamp when Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Téa Gardner, Tristan Taylor and Solomon Muto entered the temple. Yami Yugi saw himself as responsible for putting his friends in danger, so insisted on battling La Jinn alone to protect the others. He summoned Celtic Guardian, who engaged in battle with La Jinn. La Jinn fought back with his bare fists, subduing Celtic Guardian and then taking a swing at Yami, who still insisted on fighting alone.[1]
The temple doors suddenly opened and Neo Aqua Madoor launched an attack, which engulfed Téa and Solomon in ice. Joey and Tristan challenged Yami's insistence on fighting alone and summoned Baby Dragon and Thunder Kid to battle Neo Aqua Madoor, leaving La Jinn to Yami. La Jinn attacked Celtic Guardian by breathing fire. Yami then came up with a plan to use their enemies abilities against each other. Celtic Guardian launched a direct attack at La Jinn. Baby Dragon and Thunder Kid did likewise to Neo Aqua Madoor. As La Jinn and Neo counterattacked with fire and ice, the other monsters pulled aside, leaving La Jinn's attack hit Neo and vice versa.[1]
