Marik Ishtar (マリク・イシュタール Mariku Ishutāru) is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories. This is a video game depiction of Marik Ishtar, from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.
Marik is a post-game opponent, one of the four "Rulers of the Heavens". After the player defeats DarkNite five times, they unlock the post-game stage, which will have only one available opponent at a time. Initially, it will be Yami Yugi, but the player can change it to Marik, using the password, 06987398
.

Marik uses mostly Fiend-Alignment monsters and many of the highest ATK monsters that can be Summoned without sacrifices. He uses multiple copies of many Magic Cards, which are normally Limited.
