The following minor Ghouls appear in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.

Duel 151[edit]
Three Ghouls reported the announcement of Battle City to Marik Ishtar and informed him that it meant Duelists throughout Japan have gathered in Domino City. Marik replied that it was convenient that all of their prey was gathering in a single location and ordered the Ghouls to unleash the Rare Hunters.
The three Ghouls also appear in the anime; see Minor Rare Hunters (episode 54).
Duels 151 and 152[edit]
Two minor Ghouls accompanied the "Exodia" Rare Hunter when he approached Katsuya Jonouchi for a Duel. When Jonouchi lost the Duel they restrained him, allowing their ally to strike him with his Duel Disk and take his "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" after he fell to the ground.
The Ghouls also appear in the anime; see Minor Rare Hunters (episode 55).
Duel 160[edit]
Two Ghouls reported to Marik that the third God card, "The God of the Obelisk", had been located in North Block C of Domino City and was being used by Seto Kaiba. They wondered how Kaiba had acquired it and asked if they should assemble the Rare Hunters to attack him. Due to Kaiba's skill and the fact that he had a God card, Marik concluded the Rare Hunters would have difficulty dealing with him, and opted to travel to Domino City to face Kaiba himself. One of the Ghouls was astonished and asked if he needed to be dirtying his hands. Marik requested that they have someone keep track of Kaiba's location, until he got a chance to face him. Until then, Marik wished to focus on Dark Yugi, the other person in Domino City who could entertain him. One of the Ghouls reported that he was heading from East B Block to towards E Block. However he did not understand why Marik was focusing on Yugi and noted that he only uses the word "entertain" when he is filled with hatred. Marik got the Ghouls to contact the next Rare Hunter, Pandora, and have him prepare to Duel Yugi, while Marik traveled to Domino City.
The two Ghouls also appear in the anime; see Minor Rare Hunters (episode 60). In the anime, they are accompanied by Odion. Some of their dialogue from the manga is instead spoken by Odion in the anime.
Duel 165[edit]
A Ghoul accompanied Marik on his yacht, while he traveled to Domino City.
Duel 170[edit]
When Marik arrived at Port Othello, he was greeted by two Ghouls. One of them supplied him with a Duel Disk he could use for the Battle City tournament. He was surprised that Marik felt the need to go there personally when his most skilled Rare Hunters were already in Domino City. He informed Marik that Domino was an hour away, to which Marik replied he would get there in 40 minutes in that case.
Another Ghoul informed Marik of Yugi Mutou's location. Not wanting to "bore" Yugi any longer, Marik said he would Duel him before arriving in the city. The Ghoul who had handed him the Duel Disk was shocked to hear this, knowing that it meant Marik planned on using the Doll.
Duel 178–179[edit]
Ghouls keeping an eye on Yugi's friends saw Katsuya Jonouchi, Anzu Mazaki, and Sugoroku Mutou go into Domino City Aquarium. They were instructed to keep watching them, so they did not escape. The Ghouls waited outside the aquarium until Marik arrived and witnessed him being approached by Dark Bakura. Marik ordered two of them to keep on Jonouchi, while he dealt with Dark Bakura. The two Ghouls then went into the aquarium and watched the Duel between Jonouchi and Ryota Kajiki.
Duel 183[edit]
A Ghoul was defeated by Dark Yugi and/or Seto Kaiba, following their team-up to defeat the Rare Hunter Tag. Around the time of his defeat, the Ghouls reported an emergency since they could not stop the the team of Dark Yugi and Kaiba, both of whom had God cards. This prompted Marik to dispatch Mask of Light and Mask of Darkness.
