Ray Shadows, known as Rei Shingetsu in the Japanese version, is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force series. This is a video game depiction of Ray Shadows, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime.

Profile

遊馬（ゆうま）たちのクラスにやって来（き）た転校生（てんこうせい）。

デュエリスト九十九（つくも）遊馬（ゆうま）の大（だい）ファンで、役（やく）に立（た）ちたいと願（ねが）っている。

「よかれと思（おも）って」、いろいろと遊馬（ゆうま）の世話（せわ）をやくのだが、ことごとく逆効果（ぎゃくこうか）、ありがた迷惑（めいわく）にしかならない。 本人（ほんにん）には悪気（わるぎ）がないので、遊馬（ゆうま）も強（つよ）くは言（い）えずにいるようだが、困（こま）っていることは確（たし）か。

実（じつ）は「バリアン・ガーディアン」という警察（けいさつ）のような存在（そんざい）で、悪（わる）いバリアンたちを追（お）ってこちらの世界（せかい）に来（き）たことが判明（はんめい）。 遊馬（ゆうま）は部下（ぶか）として手伝（てつだ）うことになる。

が、これが真（ま）っ赤（か）なウソ。

真（しん）の正体（しょうたい）はベクターが人間（にんげん）体（たい）に化（ば）けていた姿（すがた）で、これまでの爽（さわ）やかな表情（ひょうじょう）から打（う）って変（か）わって凶悪（きょうあく）な顔（かお）を見（み）せ真月（しんげつ）に対（たい）して強（つよ）い友情（ゆうじょう）を感（かん）じていた遊馬（ゆうま）を絶望（ぜつぼう）の淵（ふち）に叩（たた）き込（こ）んだ。

An exchange student who was recently introduced in Yuma's class.

A huge fan of the duelist Yuma Tsukumo, he wants to prove himself useful in any way he can.

He often tries to help Yuma out in lots of situations, but despite him "doing everything for the better", he usually ends up making everything worse, so he is actually quite a nuisance. Yuma himself might think that as well, but as he lacks in ill will entirely, he cannot bring himself to say it out loud.

He is actually a Barian Guardian, a police officer that came to this world to capture evil Barians, and he asked Yuma to assist him in his mission as a subordinate.

However, it was all a huge lie.

He was actually Vector in the guise of a human, quickly changing his benevolent features into a vicious face. This was all a scheme to befriend Yuma as Shingetsu, planning to drag him into the depths of despair.
