Simon, known as Yasuhiko Tanaka in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Tag Force series.

Simon is an Obelisk Blue student at Duel Academy.

Tag Force[edit]

Upon acquiring Simon's Deck Recipe, he also gifts the player with a "Marie the Fallen One" card.

Simon teams up with Anca for the Tag Force tournament.

Simon is Corey's partner in the Obelisk Blue Torunament during Tag Duel Sundays.

せらにデュエルの腕前（うでまえ）も一流（いちりゅう）で、その上（うえ）ルックス、話術（わじゅつ）とどれをとってもなかなかのレベルのため、非常（ひじょう）にモテる。その話術（わじゅつ）で女性（じょせい）に次々（つぎつぎ）とアプローチするため、一見（いっけん）軽薄（けいはく）なプレイボーイに見（み）えるが、その実（じつ）は、ただ単（たん）に女性（じょせい）に優（やさ）しい紳士（しんし）であるだけなのかもしれないし、軽薄（けいはく）なプレイボーイであるかもしれない。
多（おお）の女性（じょせい）とつきあってきているが、彼自身（かれじしん）はつきあっている自覚（じかく）は無（な）く、ただ紳士的（しんしてき）に接（せっ）しているつもりなだけだと思（おも）わせるような節（ふし）もある。あるいは、その思（おも）えるよう振（ふ）る舞（ま）うことで、その状態（じょうたい）を上手（うま）く続（つづ）けていこうという、一（ひと）つの作戦（さくせん）なのかもしれない。

Very popular due to his top-notch dueling skills, good looks, and smooth talking. He tries to make a move on every woman he talks to, so he might be a frivolous womanizer. He could maybe be a well-intentioned young man who is very kind to women... or maybe he really is just a womanizer.
He has been with many women, but he sees nothing wrong with that, and seems to consider himself a gentleman. Maybe he is using it as an excuse to not behave as he really should... or maybe he sincerely believes he is just behaving as he naturally should.

Decks[edit]

Simon uses a Chaos Deck in the first game.

When "Chaos Sorcerer" was Forbidden from the Advanced Format, Simon began using Highlander Decks - a Deck concept by which any card used is featured at only one copy. Once "Chaos Sorcerer" became legal once again many years later, Simon began using Chaos Decks again, now leaning more towards Cy-Caliber Decks. He continues using Highlander Decks as well until Tag Force 6.
