Collector has in the past aided the [[Wikipediawikipedia:Federal Bureau of Investigation|FBI]] in solving crimes while in jail because of his vast knowledge on the subject. While the whereabouts of his physical body after the Duel goes unexplained in the English dub, the fire caused by the "[[Destiny HERO Hero - Plasma(anime)|Ultimate Destiny Card]]" in the Pro League stadium is linked to his death in the Japanese version. However, The D believes it was in fact the shock of being defeated that proved fatal. His only other appearance was as one of the souls absorbed by "[[Destiny HERO Hero - Plasma (anime)|Destiny Hero - Plasma]] " and when "Plasma" was destroyed [[destroy]]ed in [[Aster Phoenix]]'s Duel with The D, his soul along with the others were passed on to the afterlife.

Doctor Collector's character is based on [[wikipedia:Hannibal Lecter|Hannibal Lecter]] from [[Wikipediawikipedia: Silence of The Lambs|Silence of The Lambs]]. In addition, he speaks like a wrestler in the dub (with the exact same voice as Hercule/Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball Z.)
