Taka

Taka, named Takuya (タクヤ) in the Japanese version, is a boy living under Martha's care.

In the dub, Taka's family was saved from a fire (in the original his father had died during a robbery). After seeing Sector Security officers risk their lives to save them, Taka came to admire Sector Security and aspires to join them in the future, despite the fact that Satellite residents cannot join Sector Security.

When the Signers, along with Mina, Trudge and Leo, return to Satellite, Taka immediately introduced himself to Trudge. He idolizes Trudge as a Sector Security officer, following Trudge and assisting him with the chores Martha had assigned to Trudge.

Taka stays behind to watch Yusei and Roman's Duel, while the other children are taken to safety. This leaves him in danger of being sacrificed to summon Roman's Earthbound Immortal, but Trudge and Martha manage to safely take him away from the area, although Martha is sacrificed in the process.

Despite Trudge's former hatred for Satellite people, he saves Taka.
