Special Meaning in Name

[深緑] is the colour Dark Green. It is also wordplay as the pronunciation [しんりょく] "Shinryoku" can also mean [新緑] "lush greenery" or [神力] "divine power.

Deep Green is the same as Dark Green. Don't translate too literally; it's simply archer, not bow user. I changed it to Magic, not to interfere with the Prophecy archetype. MadRest 14:38, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

'sigh' [深緑] is the colour Dark Green. You can read the dictionary article here: [1]. You are the one that is translating it as [深] "deep" and [緑] "green". You still dare to say that I'm the one that is translating it too literally.

Also, [魔] should be used as an adjective here as in "Magical". [弓] is obviously "Bow" (archery). [使い] should be translated as "User" or "Wielder". Bow wielder is too literal of a translation. A bow wielder is obviously an archer. He doesn't fight with the bows as with a sword. MadRest 12:47, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

The words [弓士] (Kyūshi) which is translated as literally as possible is "Bow Person". This is closer to the word "Archer" in English. The existence of the words [使い] means that it is intended for it to be considered in its translation.

Also, the word "wield" doesn't mean hold in your hands and swing it around to cut things. Please read the dictionary article: [2].  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 15:17, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

I agreed with Turtle here - "Wield" in my knowledge is a word meaning for a person that possessing the weapon: not hold it and hit other people with it. For explain; I wielded a set of cards and just playing with it - not toss couple cards at sniper and kill him at the neck. --iFredCat 15:22, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, the translation is correct, but it's too literal. Japanese-to-English translation isn't a simple word-to-word translation. You should take the context of the picture in effect. You can see that he's using a bow and arrow, like an archer would. MadRest 15:48, July 23, 2012 (UTC)
