Alternate Artwork[edit]

I just got my hands on the OCG card recently and noticed that they had altered the TCG artwork : the blue energy line near the crotch of Artorigus was lengthened ( for some unknown , weird and unspeakable reasons ) .

Now , Im not familiar with creating , editing the Artworks page and adding image links to the page , not to mention I dont know how to explain the reason for this altering , so everyone else is welcomed to do it instead of me .

Maybe this is not the only Noble Knight card that is altered in OCG , I will check other cards later when I have time . Daywithoutgames (talkcontribs) 16:47, November 26, 2015 (UTC)

Great find. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:51, November 26, 2015 (UTC)

First , I would like to thank Blackwings0605 for creating the Artworks page : http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Artworks:Artorigus,_King_of_the_Noble_Knights

Now let me elaborate on my previous point : Im not sure how the system works , but TCG-exclusive cards are drawn by Western artists , arent they ?

Artorigus had been released in TCG Cosmo Blazer in 25/1/2013 , and then later it was reprinted in OCG Extra Pack: Sword of Knights in 18/5/2013 . So my guess is that the Japanese artists added the blue line to the original artwork because they just felt like it and they thought it looked cooler . Not necessarily. That's only speculation perpetuated by people, after Konami revealed that a Western artist made the artworks of "Ancient Dragon" and "Noble Knight Artorigus". Even if it was a Western artist, who's to say that the artist didn't initially have that blue energy line there, yet some group within Konami decided to censor it for TCG release? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:51, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
