Can I ask why this card's name is "Clearwing Fast Dragon" and not "Clear Wing Fast Dragon"? The translation given does have a space and considering it is a clear wing synchro dragon counterpart it seems unlikely they'd change it (YuGi Mon Cards (talk • contribs) 08:04, August 16, 2016 (UTC))

Because Viz translated it as "Clearwing" instead of "Clear Wing". Whether being a counterpart puts it under the archetype exception is a different matter entirely. PhotonLegion95 (talk • contribs) 08:10, August 16, 2016 (UTC)

Althought it's speculation and we don't change things based on speculation, it's pretty obvious that in TCG the name will be "Clear Wing", since the Japanese part is exactly the same as "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon". I think that it should be moved to "Clear Wing Fast Dragon" and leave "Clearwing" as an alternate name. --Dark-Shimy (talk • contribs) 22:10, March 20, 2017 (UTC)

The current provision for renaming manga cards from their Viz name is them being apart of an archetype in the TCG. Currently, there are no cards that support "Clear Wing", so it isn't an archetype. PhotonLegion95 (talk • contribs) 22:39, March 20, 2017 (UTC)
