if i ativate CRYSTAL ABUNDANCE but my opponent ativate SOLEMN JUDGEMENTto nagate my CRYSTAL ABUNDANCE do i still need to send the cost4 CRYSTAL BEAST FROM MY TRAP ZONE to the gaveyard?

Destroying a Crystal Beast in your Spell/Trap Zone when Activating Crystal Abundance?

If Player A activates Crystal Abundance (whilst having 4 Continuous Spell Crystal Beasts) and Player B chains the activation with Mystical Space Typhoon, Dust Tornado, etc. and destroys one of your Crystal Beasts. Since the cost of Crystal Abundance is sending four Continuous Spell Crystal Beasts to the Graveyard, what happens now? Does Player A still send 4 Crystal Beasts (from their Spell/Trap Zone to the Graveyard) or will Crystal Abundance's cost be removed since Player A cannot fulfill the cost (Player A would not have to surrender the 4 Crystal Beasts since he only has 3)? --Lucafriz 12:53, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

From my understanding of the way costs work, this situation simply wouldn't happen. I.E. as a cost, the four crystal beast traps are removed from the field before Abundance is even flipped, in order to allow it to flip. Opponent cannot destroy the crystals since they're in the grave.
