The text was changed to become accurate with that demonstrated in Anime, according to the Reiji Akaba's speech and, coincidentally, also becoming similar to the text of an official card: Stegocyber. Look:

Suggested text: Pendulum Effect: If a monster battles, during damage calculation (in either player's turn): Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, you take no battle damage from that battle.
Stegocyber: During your opponent's turn, at damage calculation, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can pay 1000 LP; Special Summon it, and if you do, you take no battle damage from that battle (...)

- Generally we follow what the written card text says and ignore small inaccuracies like that, unless it does something completely different from what it says. And anime lores are often weird anyway.--XBrain130™「
