The same as always

The strong "o" (Denkou). In English, it's always adapted to just "o" (at least in YGO). Is there a reason for this card being "Senkou" rather than "Senko"? It might be a reference or something, considering the whole name was kept in Japanese rather than being translated, but just to be sure.
