Aww, Gottom? Gatmuz is so much cooler. Still, this is the best Archetype support card since Portable Battery Pack. Runer5h 02:46, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

His name is actually Gottoms (note the placing of the apostrophe) but ya the name still sucks

  • The placing of the apostrophe after the S indicates that "Gottoms" is plural, hence "Gottom" being the singular form. If "Gottoms" was intended to be singular, then they messed up, because in that case the correct possessive form would be "Gottoms's". -- Melik el-Al'ab 09:56, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Actually his name , singluar, is Gottoms. To make it plural it would be Gottoms', not Gottoms's because that is improper punctuation. Just look at Gottoms' actual card, his name is spelled Gottoms, and since there's only 1 person on the card its kinda obvious.--67.84.5.6 20:34, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

  • Actually Gottoms's is proper punctuation. Gottoms' would only be correct if Gottoms was plural. The possesive form of bus is bus's, not bus', but the possesive form of buses is indeed buses'. It's true that Gottoms appears to be singular, in that case I stand by the second point I made earlier, which is that they messed up. -- Al-Malik ملك الألعاب 12:18, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
Very late reply, but that depends. Different forms of English do it differently. Some omit the "s" after the apostrophe for plurals only. Some omit it for all words with an "s" before the apostrophe. And some include/exclude the "s" depending on how they pronounce the possessive. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:01, March 9, 2011 (UTC)
