I don't get it. If it says that the card is destroyed at the End Phrase, then what's the point of the "once per turn" thing if it won't even survive a next turn? This is in fact the most confusing car ever...that's why I gave it to my brother.--☆Tavisource 03:30, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

The point is: you can't use the effect of this card (and Plague Wolf) over and over again in the same turn. Missign0 03:46, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!--☆Tavisource 04:36, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

can you use this cards effect during your opponents turn?--Mister man 18,8 21:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

no--Legendhiro 06:10, February 15, 2010 (UTC)legendhiro

Indeed a confusing card[edit]

the effect says that THE card is immediately destroyed at the end of the turn. emphasis on the 'the' because it's not really saying what card (for all we know it could be a monster on the opponents field even though it doesn't specify). So that could be a reason why it says 'once per turn,'. Some people read 'the card' as 'this card' and that's a mistake to do so because it's misreading a cards' effect. I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking it. But if the creators truly meant to put 'this card' instead of 'the card', it could always be used in a combo with penguin soldier saving it from destruction...

If you play Karate Man with unstable evolution and megamorph while you have lower life points then your opponent and use karate mans effect....what happens?????

the effect does refer to karate man as the card being destroyed. read the errata effect. to answer your question, karate man + unstable evolution + megamorph with lower life points + karate man's effect = a very mediocre monster with 7200 ATK that dies at the end phase. --Legendhiro 06:10, February 15, 2010 (UTC)legendhiro
