Monsters[edit]

Yes, the Dragon forms are actually Monsters, too. See, into the Monster zone it goes. Rodtheanimegod4ever 22:08, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Maybee the dragons are neither monsters, nor spells, but are there own unique card group. As in the anime there card frames are a little to blue to be spells and to green to be blue.205.188.116.80 15:22, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
    • I agree with that. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:57, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Indeed, it looks like they were activated like spell cards and become monsters afterwards. For example: There is dark Magician girl in the monstercard-zone. Then you activate the eye of timaeus in your spell card zone. Then you select which monster to tribute (DMG) afterwards the eye of timaeus is summoned in the monstercardzone and is treated as "Dark magician Girl the dragon knight" and gains the corresponding effect. And can anyone tell me why the results of the combination of a dragoncard and any other card are listed as separate cards? in the anime it seems that the 3 legendary dragon-cards are simply treated as monsters with the name, atk, def and effect of the corresponding monster. Also when the legend of heart is activated the 3 dragon-cards are summoned and treated as warrior-type monsters with appropiate effects => dark magician girl the dragon knight etc as well as the legendary knights are not individual cards, only "The eye of timaeos" "The Claw of hermos" and "The fang of critias" treated as the other cards. --SG-27 (talkcontribs) 15:43, August 20, 2011 (UTC)

"Timaeus" at least, is treated as a Spell card in the Graveyard, as shown when "Amulet Dragon" counted it as one of the eight Spell cards (read it, and you'll see.) However, despite "Spell Canceller" being on the field (as is noted on the main page), "The Fang of Critias" was still able to be played. It's possible that either a) they are note treated as Spell cards on the field, or b) unable to be prevented from being activated/Summoned. It's might be worth noting that, rather than being Equip Spells, the cards formed by "The Claw of Hermos" may also be Union monsters. If the Dragons are treated as Monster, then their Fusion is arguably similar to Contact Fusion, if they are Spells, than it is similar to Transformation Summoning. Stats?![edit]

Okay, was it ever revealed in the show or other media the ATK/DEF, Level, or Element? I assume the level was 10 or 12, the Element was Divine, and the ATK/DEF was either really high or really low.. 98.70.139.103 (talk)

Members[edit]

For simplicity's sake and due to heavy implications of future members based on the effect of "Legend of Heart", "The Claw of Hermos" and "The Fang of Critias" are continued to be listed as members here. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 01:36, April 19, 2014 (UTC)
