Supposed to be support[edit]

Well, as Zombie user (lulz) it's the card I fear the most... it's like Kinetic Soldier against Six Samurais... Everything would be fine, but ATK of 1900!; Of course, it works well with ZW, but still...; Well, after Crossroads Zombies will be as fast as hell (Yay!) so it won't be as bad as I think now (hope so O_o)

BTW, can it SS monster that was destroyed by other Zombie (not Paladin)? It doesn't say that Paladin have to destroy the monster, or I'm wrong? (Kirikami 16:51, 18 October 2008 (UTC))

  • It just has to be destroyed by battle, in your opponent's Graveyard, and level 4 or lower and a Zombie to Special summon it, so yes to your question. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 16:55, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
    • well, what you can do is to summon malevocent mech 1 turn after this card`s summon, play zombie world (mayb field barrier),destroy a monster of lvl 4 -,summon it and summon red eyes b zombie dragon :D Deadfalk 06:24, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

ok, i have one situation, while this card does not exist when a level 4 monster was destroyed by battle, ¿Can the effect be ejecuted If Paladin of the Cursed Dragon apears after the monster was destroyed?

Eligible Monsters[edit]

Here's a scenario.

Turn 1: I play first and set a Mother Grizzly. Opponent normal summons a Zombie Master and attacks. I special summon a Spined Gillman from my deck with Mother Grizzly's effect.

Turn 2: I normal summon a second Spined Gillman and set a Magic Cylinder. I kill Zombie Master and free attack with the second. Opponent plays Call of the Mummy, special summons Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, normal summons Malevolent Mech - Goku En and activates Zombie World. He attacks with both and I play Magic Cylinder on Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon.

Turn 3: I play Salvage and return Mother Grizzly and Spined Gillman from my graveyard to my hand. I activate Lightning Vortex and discard Spined Gillman for the cost. I normal summon Mother Grizzly and attack with both. At this time, opponent is left with 500 LP (since Spined Gillman is now a Zombie, he loses his own bonus). Opponent summons a Paladin of the Cursed Dragon and tries to special summon my dead Spined Gillman claiming it was destroyed by battle in the 2nd turn. I call a foul stating it is no longer considered "destroyed by battle" but "discarded for a cost" instead.

My question is, who was right? Was my Spined Gillman still considered "destroyed by battle" or not?

You're right.Since you returned your Spined Gillman to the hand and has sent it there later by a cost, it can no longer be revived by Paladin's effect. --OnePiece (talkcontribs) 15:19, January 24, 2016 (UTC)
