Deciding on the name

In absence of TCG names, CR directly translates the OCG names as a temporary substitute. We've seen this happen before with "Gouki Headbatt" ("Gouki Headbutt") and the "Rokket" archetype ("Varrett").

In Episode 10, CR translates this card as "Quick Revolve," which is a direct translation of its OCG name (クイック・リボルブ). Episode 10 also uses "Varrett" instead of "Rokket." This suggests that CR did not have the TCG names at the time of Episode 10's airing. Had the names been provided to them on time, they would almost have certainly used "Quick Launch" instead of the OCG name.

So should we still assume that "Quick Revolve" is the official English name for the anime until the dubbed episode airs? Or should we use the far more likely TCG name because there is evidence to suggest the names used in that particular episode are not the official English names. No. It isn't. It's Quick Launch because the name of the card in the TCG. It's going to stay the same as the TCG so why bother keeping the card in the "candidate for renaming" category? RaidingRaptor (talk • contribs) 23:57, December 10, 2017 (UTC)

Its overwhelmingly likely it will use "Quick Launch" if it ever appears again. Everything Laxus said is true, but that still does not make "Quick Launch" an official name for the anime version of the card.

Talk of "the official English name" is not something to get into. There can be multiple official English names. The TCG is not somehow more official than the dub or the official subs. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 23:59, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
