Whenever a DeckMaster is sacrificed, the monster it was sacrificed for takes its place. Yugi didn't lose; Swift Gaia was his DeckMaster for that short amount of time before the end of the duel. Rogueduelist89 21:03, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

But Technically, he didn't sacrifice Kuriboh for Gaia, if going by the card's text. It would have been sacrificed for the card's effect. Besides, I don't remember him tributing Kuriboh or replacinghis DeckMasster.--Qim1 21:12, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Well, when Dark Flare Knight (A fusion of 2 DeckMasters) was replaced by Mirage Knight, that served as Yugi and Joey's DeckMaster, right? And that was due to a card effect, right? The way I see it, its the same basic principle. Rogueduelist89 21:31, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
