Summoning Conditions[edit]

The following goes under summoning conditions and adds on to what Tyrant Slayer asked: this card can also be normal summoned, as well as being special summoned by cards that can special summon monsters that can be normal summoned (i.e. Mausoleum of the Emperor)

Do you "ignore summoning conditions" for cards like Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon. Dmaster 16:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

  • After a Semi-Nomi monster has been special summoned within its summoning conditions, it can be special summoned from the graveyard with cards like Monster Reborn. You can't use this card however, to special summon a Semi-Nomi dragon that was sent to the grave via cards like Trade-In, Future Fusion, etc. Nomi dragons can't be summoned by this card's effect at all. If a card lists "ignore/ignoring the summoning conditions" in the text, then it can summon any appropriate monster whether it is Nomi, Semi-Nomi. or neither (i.e. Level Modulation)--Dragonking 16:30, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Summoning Question[edit]

I was wondering on this monsters lore it says it can be special summoned by removing a dragon from the field can it also be special summoned from the graveyard too, since it doesn't empahsize that it has to be in your hand.

Release date[edit]

I have an important question. when was this card TCG dubbed?--Dragonking 02:18, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Special summon[edit]

Since it does not say it has to be in your hand to special summon by removing 1 dragon from your field ,can I use this effect from the graveyard??--Elm00 09:34, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

    • Sigh. Again with this nonsense. You cannot Special Summon any card like that from the Graveyard unless it specifically states that it CAN be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. User:Toob/Talk 09:36, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

After I have already used REDMD effect to summon a monster can I use double summon to normal summon two monsters or can I only summon one more time that turn?

    • Providing you have not normal summoned yet. double summon does allow you to normal summon two other monsters; one being your once per turn normal summon, the other coming from 'double summons' effect. since REDMD effect is to special summon, it does not affect your once per turn normal summon, or any other additional normal summons you gained from other card effects.

Summoning Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon[edit]

can this card special summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon?--Shiker& (talkcontribs) 22:24, May 1, 2011 (UTC)

If this card is sent to the graveyard on your turn from a tribute or other effect AFTER having already used it's summon from the graveyard/hand effect, can you bring it back (let's say with Monster Reborn) can you then use it's summon effect again?

Effect ability, Can he reuses his "once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster except "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" from your hand or Graveyard." in the same turn if he leaves the filed, but comes back on the same turn?

Real Ruling or Fake?[edit]

Acording to my friend, a ruling is out that if a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon on the field uses its effect, and then later that same turn, is sent to the graveyard and special summoned back to the field, it cannot use it's effect again. Also if I was to special summon it by another cards effect (i.e. Monster Reborn) id still have to remove a dragon from my feild to summon it. plese tell me if this is true or not...

No, these "rulings" are wrong. The once per turn does not apply to a new instance of the card being on the field. As long as it has left the field or was flipped face down, then summoned/flipped, it is considered a new instance of that monster. Secondly, go read Tyrant Dragon. Darkness Metal does not read that way. You do not have to remove from play a Dragon to special summon it, it is an optional, easy way to summon it from the hand. 129.1.72.62 (talk) 22:28, October 27, 2011 (UTC)
