please can some one explain to me how a card cannot declare an attack, but whenever it battles the opponent takes no damage. This is confusing me because earthbound immortals cannot be targeted as an attack target so i believe the second effect is pointless - unless there is something i am missing? Actually, Revival of the Immortals can be quite useful, if you use it on the right Immortal. I think if you had Ccapac Apu in your Graveyard, you could use that card on it; sure, it may not be able to inflict damage while attacking directly (or from any other attack whatsoever), but it can still inflict damage to your opponent with its own effect, when it destroys an opponent's monster in battle. Just check the tips page, if you want to know more. Psychid45, a.k.a. Psychid; real pen name, no gimmicks! 11:04, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

It can't attack the turn it's summoned by Revival of the Immortals. After that, it can attack, but the opponent won't take battle damage. This may combo well with Shrink/Cusillu by ramming Cusillu into your opponent's monster and destroying another monster you control, preferably something that can be recycled like Twin-Headed Behemoth.
