Transroids[edit]

Has anyone ever noticed that all the Vehicroids look like Transformers? Expecially Truckroid and UFOroid, who look like Optimus Prime and Cosmos, respectivelly.

  • Well, the only real reason they look alike would be because they both were modeled after vehicles. The Vehicroids were modeled after things such as a truck, UFO, ambulance, jet, space shuttle, and steam engine, while the Transformers transform into such vehicles, such as Optimus Prime, Cosmos, Ratchet, Seekers & Coneheads, and Astrotrain (for the last 2) respectively. Although I'd have to admit I never heard of a transforming bicycle! ^_^; -- Melik el-Al'ab 18:51, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

OCG Errata?[edit]

In the OCG, Jinzo is called Android - Psycho Shocker. Does this mean that Supercharge can be activated when a Jinzo (equipped with Amplifier) is attacked? —This unsigned comment was made by 90.130.207.127 (talkcontribs) 11:55, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

No, the Japanese text for "Supercharge" says it works on monsters with "ロイド" ("roid") in their name. So "roid" must be spelled "ロイド" in the Japanese name for it to work.
Jinzo's Japanese name is spelled "(じん)(ぞう)(にん)(げん)-サイコ・ショッカー", which doesn't contain "ロイド". Its is pronounced "Jinzōningen - Saiko Shokkā". "Jinzōningen" is Japanese for "Android", so "roid" is never actually pronounced in its Japanese name. "Magical Android" on the other hand, spells "Android" "アンドロイド" (pronounced "Andoroido") "ロイド" ("roid") is clearly visable in that name, making it a "roid" monster. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:00, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

where did the roids come from ?

I believe that they are the GX counterparts of Joey's monsters, and the equivalent of the Blackwings in FDs.

Extreme Fighting Machine King Valbaroid & Extreme Fighting Machine King Valvaroid[edit]

They seem to be the same card (one redirects to the other), so one needs to be removed from the template. --205.122.232.250 (talk) 01:12, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Super Machine Union[edit]

Super Machine Union should be in the anime\manga area of the box.--205.122.232.250 (talk) 01:41, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Sub-dividing into Vehicroids[edit]

I think we should make an archetype just explicitly relating to Vehicroids --{{SUBST:User:SaiyanZ/sig2}} 03:42, January 31, 2012 (UTC)

Vehicroid. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:56, January 31, 2012 (UTC)
The members aren't shown in the bottom divider though --{{SUBST:User:SaiyanZ/sig2}} 13:21, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
You mean in the box at the bottom of "Vehicroid"? I see all the members just fine. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:46, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
I think he means the one on this page. Like a separate box for it, since it's a sub-archetype. Like {{Cyber}} for example. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:18, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
Like Cheesy said, it's similar to all Sacred Beast that have Uria, Hamon and Raviel all related in that article instead of three separate articles that individual each deck. And for City that absorbed all "Big City", "Little City", etc in same article. SaiyanZ was just merely asked to including "Vehicroid" in "-roid" article alone. --iFredCat 16:33, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

Capital R[edit]

Either the "r" in this page's name should be lowercase or the "s" in the sphinx pagename should be capitalized. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 16:30, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

Well, wikia automatically makes links start with caps, and we don't use lower case for the page names of shuffle, draw, negate, etc. and Konami's screwed up with deciding on whether or not capitalisation matters in support cards. So I'd suggest using caps for the first letter of every page. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:19, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
That's my preference as well. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 02:23, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

"r" in "roid"[edit]

Shouldn't the "r" in "roid" in this article be capitalised? PainLess (talkcontribs) 10:52, January 2, 2014 (UTC)

No. See Talk:Hunder#Capital H. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 11:09, January 2, 2014 (UTC)

Picture[edit]

I am considering using this picture of the Spanish wiki as the picture of the article what do you think?

--Troly (talkcontribs) 15:43, July 24, 2017 (UTC)

I agree. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 21:47, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
No. I prefer using official images, than cropping card images (those tend to have inferior quality, just like the one you posted). Using screenshots from the anime isn't much better, but can be better. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:16, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
