"Send to the Graveyard", or "Banish"?[edit]

This is something that's kind of been bothering me for some time now. After you draw the cards you get from "Roll of Fate's" result, you obviously remove that same number of cards from the top of your Deck. In the anime, they're sent to the Graveyard; but in the lore, there's the implication that they're banished, instead. Which one is correct: Sending to the Graveyard, or banished? --Yes, it's PSYCHID! UltimateKuriboh, I hope I don't sound rude, but I didn't ask this because of that possible troll edit. If you've seen its anime appearances, the cards that are drawn after "Roll of Fate's" effect are sent to the Graveyard instead of being banished. I'm asking to know which of those actions (sending to the Graveyard or banishing) is correct, since the action in the anime itself and the card's Japanese lore aren't exactly the same. --Yes, it's PSYCHID! No, you're not being rude. Sorry about the no-reply, I was trying to follow up by watching the subbed episodes afterwards. The Japanese episodes and the card text itself use a generic term that can be interpreted as "dump", which can be "discard"/"send"/"banish". Since he was seen placing the cards in his Graveyard, I guess "send" would be it then. I reverted the edit without checking first because the guy didn't cite an explanation, so that's "my excuse." --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:09, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply! So if "send" would be more accurate, would it be safe to change the last effect where the cards are sent to the Graveyard? --Yes, it's PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 03:35, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
I'm going to let SnorlaxMonster handle it, since he was the one who changed it from "send" to "banish" in the first place. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:40, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
The lore simply says "remove" rather than the full "remove from play" that would mean banish. Like a lot of early anime lore, it's vague. It's worth noting that the page already said that the card removed from play before my edit, but also said that it sent to the Graveyard; I overlooked that the lore said "remove the card" rather than "remove from play", and I imagine I was mislead by the instance on the page already stating that the cards were banished which was added back in 2009. --SnorlaxMonster 14:03, January 19, 2017 (UTC)
