However, this is JAPANESE Yu-Gi-Oh, where characters DO die. 92.11.105.199 23:01, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Just because he can die, doesn't mean he is dead. I think 98.117.163.203 means anything is possible in Yu-Gi-Oh! -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:05, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

For a person who uses actual Psychic cards, and dies only in the first season kind of misses the point of creating the Psychic-Type (if you get what I'm saying here). Psychic-Type cards would need the anime to get more support of out them, and It'll be pretty rare if someone else in the anime uses Psychic cards. I do not believe Divine is dead... i believe he will be a character who would last to the end of 5D's. Sort of like Pegasus. -- Azuh (talk)

He seems more like a Bakura/Darkness to me, the kind of guy who's obviously a villain, but lays low until the very last season to come back as the final antagonist. 70.138.163.94

page has been edited. We can't confirm if Divine is truly dead or not anything could happen. —This unsigned comment was made by 98.117.163.203 (talkcontribs) 20:50, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

If Divine IS dead, Akiza will probably make a Plant/Psychic/BRD/Thought Ruler Archfiend deck in honor of him and Rex is most likely the 5D's version of Pegasus (assuming there is a 5D's version of Pegasus)

Sayer....[edit]

Wow, 4Kids are truly such a cunts by replacing the Divine name. I mean, either they think kids are idiots and will get troubled by the religious crap issue or the parents are just such a conservativee relgious fans who demand every religion-related word to be banned.

...that or "Divine" wasn't just American enough for them (like if anything japenese was). 201.163.87.158 00:34, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Return in 60[edit]

Divine's return in episode 61 stems from the fact he is brought back to life along with the people sacrificed following Carly's forecoming defeat next episode. superlogan7437 22:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

the thing is that the people free from the Nazca god defeats is one thing apart. Remember that he was dueling carly and therefore not was a sacrifice by either of the 2 gods. He did lose however the rules as that onw who loses in that duels die was not applied neither as sayer was thrown down the building therefore leading to the conclusion that if head survivived instead or died which is now responded with his comeback. Probably still alive.[edit]

The reason probably Divine/Sayer didn't die in that fall he took is that he probably used Emergency Teleport, and got out of there in time to survive, but with some damage. As for getting eaten by Misty's Earthbound he either used the same trick and i mentioned above, or survived after that, since the Signers defeated the Dark Signers. Proof for survival is that new card Ultimate Psykicker card in Duelist's Revolution.

the criminal mark after revival[edit]

did he get that criminal mark after he was sent to the facility after reviving after the defeat of Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua. --Dragon146 (talkcontribs) 01:24, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

we don't know.--RexGodwin (talkcontribs) 06:32, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
