This is getting old[edit]

All right. Anyone else getting a little tired of Dragons of Water always being called "Sea Serpents?" Can't anyone make a single Dragon-Type, Water attribute Monster?Winxfan1 18:07, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Winxfan1

  • Doing so might make dragons too powerful. Add Gishilnodon to the dragon world, and there is too much power. Messengerofthedark 18:14, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Messengerofthedark

I see. It's just an idea. And it's not just Gish, What about all the Sea Serpents with "Dragon" in their name? Winxfan1 22:11, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Winxfan1

Awesome thanks. Winxfan1 23:16, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Winxfan1

What about ones in the TCG?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 01:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Sea Serpernt in TCG = Sea Dragon for OCG[edit]

In OCG, the most common translation for these monsters type is Sea Dragon. Thats the reason. Originally, the Sea Serpent type had been designed to be Sea Dragon type, but someone decided to name this mosnter type "Sea Serpents" for TCG. I think the problem was calling them "sea serpent-type" from the beggining. There are more examples:

  • OCG undead is TCG zombie;
  • OCG bird is TCG winged beast
  • OCG angel is TCG fairy
  • etc.

Also, a card with 'Dragon' in it's name means it is particarly powerful.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 01:06, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
