Sherry's English VA[edit]

Sherry seems like a cool character. 10:1 odds either Lisa Ortiz, Tara Sands or Rachael Lillis will voice her when this season comes out dubbed. --Winxfan1 00:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Winxfan1

Sherry's Deck[edit]

  • I wonder what type of monsters she uses, all we know is that she has a horse-like duel runner and a suit of armor... *Sarcasm* Seriously, I'm curious if she uses a generic warrior deck (Marauding Captain, Warrior Dai Grepher) or a new knight based archetype.Azure Knight-Zeo 06:45, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

knight deck that s a good idea we will need a picture of her after the episode of course on the pojo forums there commenting that sherry needs to be shot and akiza would be great if she dueled on a runner and if there was an episode where akiza is like yusei and breaks the law Sartorias 15:45, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

It would be interesting. Akiza has a runner in Wheelie Breakers. I wonder if it'll have an anime appearance? Also, I wonder what Sherry looks like underneath that helmet. As for her deck I hope she dosen't use the same cards that Sir Randsburg (I loke to call him Sir Dorksburgh or Sir Geeksburgh) uses, even though Masked Knight Lv. 7 looked really cool. --Winxfan1 16:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Winxfan1

Its close to see this week what deck Sherry have or apperarance for that matter. With the matter of Akiza having a Duel runner that could be the same as in Wheelie breakers or Turbo dueling. Maybe episode 75 could give us that answer. DracoX 17:54, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Name[edit]

How do we know her last name?~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 02:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

She mentioned it.Right after she took her helmet off.PoirotH 02:13, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Sherry seemed better then Cherie.... why was that changed?~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:25, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

However the name apparently has been left with Cherie on other sites and not Sherry. DracoX 22:03, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

which sites? cause the anime itself refer to her as "Sherry" not "Cherie"~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 22:05, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Janime and forums along with subbed versions for the episode stick it with Cherie. DracoX 22:12, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

I think Sherry is correct name, because anime said so. Subbed version seems to be incorrected this time and we'll see that janime will update this soon :) --Blackwings0605 00:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Well then lets wait then. DracoX 01:55, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

I've reverted the pages back to "Sherry" because it is the name the Anime gives her~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 02:37, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

People think it's Cherie/Cheri, because it's more of a French spelling. The name Cheri comes from the French word for darling, but it's not actually used as a name in France. So if she was a real French person, it's unlikely her name would be Cheri. Despite that I'm pretty sure whoever created her intended for her name to come from the French word, but the animators didn't know that. Remember the animators have also spelled "Stardust" as "Star Dust", "Fortune" as "Fortun" and "Momentum" as "Mormetn". And in earlier series "Web" as "Wed" and "Clown" as "Crown". Other questionable ones that may be right or wrong are "Atlus", "Lua", "Luca" and "Goodwin". -- Deltaneos (talk) 10:42, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

You're right about that and that MEOW is also right about her name being Sherry. Forgot the detail on which Sherry is on the dueling scoreboard, so there the proof once and for about this confusing subject. DracoX 21:31, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Although I'm quite sure the creator intended for it to be Cheri, I'm in favour of leaving it at Sherry, since it's the only English spelling we were officially given. Oh course we can still mention that fans spell it Cherie/Cheri, like with Malik and Godwin. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:00, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Huhumm that too. DracoX 16:30, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Trivia section[edit]

Can we remove this section? There's not much evidence to say her name derives from either of those. Sherry's not an uncommon first name. It's more likely they picked it because it's a first name, rather than name her after the wine. And there's still the chance that they meant Cheri. Leblanc is a French surname; it's likely that it's just a coincidence that someone connected to a slightly similar sport also has it.
Even if we do keep that info, trivia sections are only for miscellaneous info that doesn't fit anywhere else in the article. What characters' names are derived from are usually covered in the intro, when it only takes 1 or 2 lines. -- Deltaneos (talk) 08:23, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Just noticed something![edit]

I just notice something about Z-One. Couldn't that mean The One because in the old times didn't people say the as zee sometimes. I have a feeling this is like a leader of the Infinity group. --ClubPenguinMaster 00:56, January 21, 2010 (UTC)Yu-Gi-Oh Master

Rename Sherry LeBlanc[edit]

In the English Tag Force 5, the capitalisation in her surname is changed to "LeBlanc". You can see it here. Should we go ahead and rename the page? -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:02, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Background[edit]

Do you think the English version will have the bit with the bodies..i doubt it.

Possible change of fate[edit]

Zone mentioned that her fate would change. At the beginning of ep 131, she was seen in this scene again, however at the Momentum of the Machine Emperors. Is it possible that she is the 4th Machine Emperor? That would explain the Future Colors opening. The Signers had their dragons on their body/clothes and were with those they cared for (luna with leo). Sherry had the three emperors in her hair and she was falling, with her friends in her hair (as well, but not as promininent as, the emperors) with Yusei trying to save her. She was wearing black, which is also the color of the newest Machine Emperor monster. The Road to Tomorrow briefly shows a close-up of the Fourth Emperor's face. I would definitly say Feminine, bearing at least as much resemblence to Sherry as Dark Glass did to Bruno.

Plotline guessing here. the WRGP had 5D's win, but the circut got complete anyway, revealing where (the person/thing the 3 Emperors were looking for) is. It turns out to be Sherry and the ME, and 5D's have to stop her, but Yusei wants to keep her alive and jog her memory.

I agree and I think this WILL happen, also: she attacks aki and crow when they go to arc cradle according to the description of episode 139Luna874 (talkcontribs) 20:25, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Ep 71 and ep 72 opening[edit]

Not sure if anyone noticed this but in episode 71, before Sherry was introduced, the opening sequence showed her with her helmet on and her hair hidden. In Episode 72 after she's been introduced, it shows her full face. Should that be part of 'trivia' or not since that section was taken out?
