Potentially fake image[edit]

This image has been repeatedly uploaded, but can't be confirmed. The card's ATK/DEF is obviously card maker edited, and the fact that both the scan and the image appeared at the exact same time points to this being fake. I say we remove the image (again) for the time being until it can be confirmed. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:15, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

Is this sufficient as a reference? http://yugiohlatino.com/flashing-carat-dragon-stardust/ --TheGallisMan (talkcontribs) 17:31, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
That's the image that's been floating around, but the people who usually can confirm these things aren't supporting it. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:34, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
Exactly. I have several Japanese websites bookmarked which always post news about these kind of stuff very quickly, but none have posted anything about Stardust being volume 5's promo. Ark also has some good sources, and said neither of them said anything about it either. Besides what Golden Key already mentioned. So, this image is really much probably fake. If it happen to be real and confirmed later, we can just add it back, but for now, we better not add it. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 20:19, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

I wish they stop uploading fake pics that gets people excited, cause i was happy to see this card getting made into a real card but turns out to be fake - its like a middle finger to the face . --69.181.60.66 (talk) 20:45, October 2, 2012 (UTC)-

Yeah, I don't know what those jerks want, but spreading fake info like that just screws people up. Don't worry though, it's much probable that we'll get the Duel Dragons or at least the most important ones released in the OCG/TCG sooner or later. ;) LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 00:10, October 3, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, and beside that, don't forget that we already got one in the form of Purgatory Dragon - Ogre Dragoon. HPZ - O.N.E. - Captain Moe FTW ! (talkcontribs) 00:40, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

The one DUEL DRAGON, im waiting 4 is Emna Dragon - Red Demon (went through alot of name changes,so i don't know what to call it by?), its effect makes the old Red Demon's Dragon looks like a normal beatstick. It might be a new staple for synchros and dont have worrying destroying your non-attacking monster at the end phase, just switch them to DEF, so that RED DEMON won't nuke your attackers. --69.181.60.66 (talk) 05:03, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

Official card name[edit]

I've read some new info that states the English name is Stardust Radiance Dragon. —This unsigned comment was made by 65.31.174.134 (talkcontribs) 04:56, December 30, 2012‎ (UTC)

Please provide the source (the link). If you do provide it on this talk page, remember that you will also have to post the link again in your edit summary if you choose to change the name again. I will also revert the edit for "Ancient Fairy Dragon (manga)" until a reliable source is provided as well. Also, please sign your posts with four tildes (~). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:39, December 30, 2012 (UTC)

This gone through a lot of name changes similar to the Duel Dragon version of Red Demon. Is there some naming conflict on how its name is translated, can someone explain? PLZ. --108.225.20.64 (talk) 07:27, April 6, 2013 (UTC)

  • Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust
  • Radiance Dragon - Stardust
  • Flickering Jewel Dragon - Stardust
  • Jewel Flare Dragon - Stardust
The manga has it as "Jewel Flare Dragon Stardust." 'Sen' in this card's name means 'flash', 'flicker' and 'kou' means 'karat', 'jewel'. Also, 'Senkou' is a homonym for 'flash', 'radiance'. 50.117.59.7 (talk) 13:35, April 6, 2013 (UTC)

I have the guard on Dueling Network. It's Stardust Radiance Dragon. http://www.duelingnetwork.com/ sign in and you'll find out.--User:Staff Sergeant Jack Jackson | Talk Page | My Contributions 04:48, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Duelingnetwork cannot be used as a source of information-- Aexon 05:33, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

"Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" is an overlay literal translation. "Stardust Radiance Dragon" is the named used on DN, which is not an official source. DN is a fan game. We use the same names as they do, unless an official source says something different. The English manga is an official source and they called it "Jewel Flare Dragon - Stardust", thus that's what the article is called now. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 14:19, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
I agreed with Cheesy here, as seen here, which was an fanart of "Dark Magician Girl", base on this color. --iFredCat 14:35, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
Its official name is "Stardust Spark Dragon". coretcg --TheGallisMan 10:33, September 27, 2013 (UTC)
Eh, I was going to revert the changes you made but decided against it. It's close enough to the release date that it seems valid. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 14:30, September 27, 2013 (UTC)

Legality[edit]

This card is currently not legal outside of North America and the OCG. Suggest removing the "English Worldwide" section from the Sets listing. Shamus (talkcontribs) 14:07, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
