Wow[edit]

Nicy. It can place Counters on OTHER monster card than itself + burn effect could be useful. If you have the right cards, then Zombies can draw ~11 spare cards, so you can discard 'em for game (burn eff.)... + it works well with Dark World. ^^ (Kirikami 13:35, 22 October 2008 (UTC))

...[edit]

I'm not sure if his effect works with Dark World. But in any case, I can't wait to get my playset when I judge at the Sneak Preview next week. *evil smirk* Ghaleonh41 18:33, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Well yeah, it may be cost. I hope it's not ^^ (Kirikami 20:33, 22 October 2008 (UTC))
  • Not what I was hoping it do be, since spellcasters already have tricky to discard cards. But at least it can reload breaker and is easy to summon =)Bio 18:41, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Question regarding this effect, obviously it doesn't work with DW because it's a cost. Does it work with Fableds? They can activate even if the discard effect was for a cost. They are only prevented by "sending" cards from your hand to the GY instead of "discarding." I used this effect in the WC2010 game and it did not proc the fabled effects, and I was wondering if this is a bug in the game of if there is a real ruling I'm missing. Synchro Summon question[edit]

It says the Synchro Material monsters are "1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Spellcaster-Type monsters". Does this mean the Tuner monster has to be a Spellcaster too? RedDrgn 23:41, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

No. Read what it says. You need a Tuner and a Spellcaster-Type Monster. Ghaleonh41 04:23, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

I just figure that if the Tuner monster didn't need to be a Spellcaster, it would say "1 Tuner + 1 or more Spellcaster-Type non-Tuner monsters" because that implies more heavily that only the non-Tuner monsters needed to be Spellcasters. RedDrgn 13:07, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

It doesn't matter how it's written. If you needed a Spellcaster Tuner, it would be noted on the card. Arcanite is written in the same exact way. Ghaleonh41 15:30, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

how excited is everyone because this is going to be one of the 2 special edition cards for the special edition of stardust overdrive :D
