Can This card be substitute for five God Dragon?

Ive been wondering about that too, and yugioh wikia says it can in unofficial ruling. In my oppinion, it should be able to substitute for it. It says "The Fusion Material Monsters for this card are any 5 Dragon-Type monsters". It does not state that it can only be dragon type monsters. So the way I see is that it just states what fusion material monsters it needs. It is not like cyber twin dragon, which states that its fusion Summon can only be conducted with two cyber dragons. So any substitute fusion material monster should be able to substitute one of the fusion material monsters five-headed dragon needs.

yes, but it can only be used if 4 other dragons are on the field which is hard to do. F.G.D owner 20:38, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Future Fusion and Dragon's Mirror are better choices when summoning Five-Headed Dragon, this card is best used along with Divine Dragon Ragnarok or Lord of D. (preferably the latter) to summon King Dragun (or similar Fusions depending on your need). BlueEyesWhiteDragon 02:34, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hi all, I'm having trouble understanding the second sentence of this card's description. Let me see if I have this right:

I want to special summon Reaper on the Nightmare from my Fusion deck. I have this card and Spirit Reaper face-up on my side of the field. So, by sending both Spirit Reaper and The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion to my graveyard from the field, I can special summon Reaper on the Nightmare to my side of the field. Is this statement correct? So I would still only need one correct material piece to use the second effect of this card? User:Gosh Josh 01:28, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
