Slifer's effect manipulation

"The effect of "Slifer the Sky Dragon" should not have been manipulated as it was, since it is unaffected by Trap Cards as is clearly stated. However, "Slifer the Sky Dragon" wasn't the direct target of "Magnet Force", which could imply that Trap Cards that indirectly target a monster may work." Well, it's technically incorrect. Yugi used "Spellbinding Circle" on Slifer in his duel againt String. The God Immunity effect is always vague and differs between appearances. My understanding of the DM version of it is that ALL effects work on Gods for 1 turn unless they try to switch control, equip or remove it from the field, those just fail. They never gave us many examples of Traps VS Gods, Mirror force failed on Obelisk, Spellbinding Circle lasted 1 turn and I can't think of any other time a trap was used directly against them. Further there is what counts as "Directly" affecting them, this didn't affect Slifer Directly, just redirected its effect.

Besides, its clearly what happened, should or should not have, it did.

Further worth noting that this whole thing was Anime Only, in the Manga he only used Obelisk, not all 3.
