English name[edit]

I've been putting this off for entirely too long, so might as well get it out of the way now: the game's name is rendered in English directly on its box art and on the cover of the game guide, where it is rendered as "Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle". I'm not sure why our article uses an ampersand instead of the word "and", but it (and everything related to it) should be renamed. Any comments/questions/objections/etc., or should I just start moving stuff? ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 14:06, February 18, 2013 (UTC)

Is that colon a typo? I don't see it in the English rendering, but when the promos page was first created here, it used the colon and the word "and". It looks like the current title was chosen without noticing the English rendering. I see no problem in changing "&" to "and". --Deltaneos (talk) 23:33, February 18, 2013 (UTC)
Nope, if you look in the image, there's a star between "Capsule" and "Breed". While the specific choice of a star is stylistic, it could pretty easily be argued that it is meant to indicate a break, hence the colon (and IMHO, adding the colon just makes the name look/read better, too). ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 00:42, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
There's also a star between "Yu-Gi-Oh!" and "Monster Capsule"; Yu-Gi-Oh!: Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle. One colon to separate a title and subtitle looks neat to me, while two colons to separate three parts of a name doesn't. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:14, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
I prefer to think of the exclamation point at the end of "Yu-Gi-Oh!" as serving the purpose of a colon; even something like "Yu-Gi-Oh!: Capsule Monster Chess" doesn't look right to me. Unless I'm mistaken, this is also how official materials normally handle the situation. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 01:22, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
Okay. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:57, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
