Major Error in Duel

Well, it goes like this: Numbers in the manga have the effect "cannot be destroyed in battle EXCEPT by Numbers". But Anti-Hope seems to have no problem with that, destroying Spider Shark and S39 by battle. Should we add this in the Trivia section? Imadmagician (talk • contribs) 17:29, June 16, 2015 (UTC)

Was the text of Anti-Hope ever shown in the manga? Because it might have an effect that negates the effects of Xyz Monsters.--YamiWheeler (talk • contribs) 21:53, June 16, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it might, but we can't say that it has such an effect. Since ZEXAL doesn't show lores, all effects are verbally explained. And the only effect that E'Rah said Anti-Hope had was the "cannot Xyz Summon" one (plus, if it negated the effects of Xyz Monster, Titanic Galaxy would've lost its ATK gaining effect in turn 12, and E'Rah wouldn't have to use Anti the Ray to negate Hope the Lightning's effects). Personally, I strongly believe Yoshida simply forgot about the "Numbers can only be defeated by Numbers" thing. This topic hasn't been used in the story since a loooong time, and as a last boss duel, there are lots of things you have to heat your brain with, so it's easy to forget details like this one.
