I felt there were enough of these to warrant a new page. If other editors could separate the manga from the animes it would help alot. I haven't read the manga enough to do this. It would also appear that Yami Yugi's cards are in the Dawn of the Duel Deck (or it's more manga being mixed in). Please make corrosponding changes on Yami Yugi's Decks also.--71.199.47.18 06:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure?[edit]

"Notably, Yugi's deck does not feature Dark Magician during this arc." It doesn't sound right. --68.191.47.175 20:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Errors[edit]

Yugi never uses Skilled Dark Magician or Dark Renewal in the Battle City Arc. And why does it say the Yugi has two Alpha The Magnet Warriors and two Magic Formulas?--Qim1 18:24, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

The problem I mentioned earlier has been resolved. Coming back to this page,I'd just like to say it was fixed, and my previous comment no longer applies to the current page. (To clear up any future confusion for people viewing this page) Thank you. --Qim1 00:55, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

There are ritual monsters in the "extra deck" section. Guilherme Ruiz (talkcontribs) 03:29, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

Yugi's Movie Deck[edit]

I was looking at Yugi's deck used in Pyramid of Light, and I noticed a number of cards that I never saw in the movie, such as Zombyra the Dark, Gemini Elf, and Morphing Jar. Were those cards seen somehow, but not played? If they were the cards he had to discard because of Deck Destruction Virus, then I understand, but I just need someone to help me clarify this. Thanks. Rogueduelist89 06:00, December 14, 2009 (UTC)

The novelisation of the film gave Yugi and Kaiba's complete Decklists, including the cards we didn't see in the movie. -- Deltaneos (talk) 06:33, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
I see. And where can I find such a novelization? That is, if I can. Rogueduelist89 02:47, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

Blue Eyes[edit]

In Yugi's duel against Noah, he manages to get out Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, with "two Blue Eyes in [his] hand". Should they be added to his deck for the Virtual World arc?58.7.5.95 06:46, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

No. He combined his Virtual World Deck with Kaiba's for his duel with Noah, since it was a continuation. So those cards were in Kaiba's Deck. Cheesedude 15:35, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Bandai Links[edit]

For certain cards the link goes to the Bandai version of the card. Why not go to the normal version instead? (Peelster1 (talkcontribs) 14:50, September 9, 2010 (UTC))

I believe that some of the Bandai cards are closer to what was used in the First Series Anime than their Konami versions. Don't quote me on that, but that seems like the most likely reason to me. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 15:46, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

GX deck[edit]

The following cards aren't included in the list:

--109.93.196.161 (talk) 10:39, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

All those cards were used by Dimitri, which was specified in the prose, with a link to his article. As for "Winged Kuriboh", it wasn't ever shown as part of his Deck. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 15:48, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

Does Yugi's Present Deck include Egyptian Gods? In dub it is stated that the Deck went on a tour without them, but I don't know what is said in Japanese version. --109.93.81.124 (talk) 23:06, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

No, the Japanese version says the same thing. Plus, he doesn't have the cards anymore. They were sealed in the tomb with the Millennium Items in the last episode of the second series anime. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:09, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't "Winged Kuriboh" be listed as part of his present Deck? Yugi gave it to Jaden from his Deck, altough he didn't play it in a Duel. --The Goblin (talkcontribs) 00:14, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Deck he used against Jaden =/= Deck that Dimitri used =/= Deck he used when he met Jaden and gave him WK. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:44, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Dawn of the Duel[edit]

There are some cards that were present in his Deck, but not used in duels. As Atem recovered his name in episode 219, the spirits of Egyptian God cards from Yugi's Deck entered the petrified bodies of their ancient versions. In dubbed version of episode 209, when Dark Magician Girl as Mana's Ka appeared, one member of the Sacred Guardians said to Mana that DMG was Summoned by a stranger (refering to Yugi). --93.87.248.216 (talk) 23:32, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

True, but they shouldn't be listed in the same Decklist, since Atem had the Gods and DMG for the Ceremonial Battle. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:38, May 9, 2011 (UTC)

Valkyrion[edit]

This card was both played and seen on Yami's Duel Disk as an Effect Monster in episode 73. Despite this, he used "De-Fusion" on it as it were a fusion of "Alpha", "Beta" and "Gamma" in the same episode. Was it a misplay or "Valkyrion" had an effect which treated itself as a fusion of the mentioned monsters while being on the field? --Aged Goblin (talkcontribs) 18:57, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

Neither. It was the simple fact that any combination monster was treated as a fusion. Valkyrion being defused makes just as much (or as little) sense as Malik defusing himself from Ra. I can guarantee you that if we translate the anime lore listed on the card, it will not have an effect that treats it as a fusion. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:06, August 1, 2011 (UTC)

Monster Recovery in Yugi's Battle-City Deck[edit]

Yugi uses Monster Recovery in the manga Battle-City finals (I'm not sure about the anime). In any case, you should definitely put that back into his Deck-list.

Ah, I hadn't realized it was the manga section you edited. I'll revert my revert. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:28, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
