Description[edit]
The Vagabond is a Duelist, steeped in legend and shrouded in mystery, who makes rare appearances in the game.
He will challenge you to Duels with special conditions, but depending on how the Duel plays out, you can obtain more character experience points than normal.
If you have the opportunity, be sure to challenge the Vagabond to a Duel!
Features[edit]
The Vagabond will occasionally appear in Duel World. If approached, he will either remain mute or state "I'm here because [friend's name] told me everything about you." depending on whether he spawns normally or was sent by a friend, and will offer to Duel the player using a random player's Deck. These opportunities are beneficial for the player, as they will receive more character experience points than normal from Dueling The Vagabond, with the amount being dependent on the rank of the player whose Deck he is using. If the player loses, any EXP received is halved.
Rank | EXP |
---|---|
Rookie | 1400 |
Bronze | 1500 |
Silver | 1600 |
Gold | 1700 |
Platinum | 1800 |
Legendary and above | 2000 |
After the Duel, the Vagabond will either state "Excellent Dueling." or "That was an interesting Duel. Are your friends as skilled as you? If they are, I would like you to introduce me to one of your friends." If the latter occurs, the player may select a friend on their friends list, and the Vagabond will appear in that player's game with the same Deck. After being Dueled, the player may choose to view his Deck, and afterward the Vagabond disappears from all Worlds.
Decks[edit]
The Vagabond can use any Deck used by any other player in Ranked Duels, and picks a random Deck to use among them when spawning. When challenging the Vagabond, the name of the player that played the deck, that player's rank, and the deck's representative card can be seen. The player is also allowed to look at said Deck after the duel. The Vagabond does not use Skills.
As of the release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS world, the Vagabond may also play Decks used by Legendary Duelists.
