Tiger's bassoon was found by Tiadosia "Tiger" Kallister under a mountain in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS. It is made from Gohanium, a highly resistant metal.

Overview[edit]

The bassoon has a number of unusual characteristics; it is significantly oversized, being over twice the width of a normal bassoon, and is composed of Gohanium, a metal which has not been used in the construction of bassoons since the end of the 19th century. As a result it is significantly heavy and unwieldy, but also incredibly resilient, as Tiger throwing it into the ground was enough to stop Caterpillio Elephantis's caterpillar track in its tracks and dismantle it. Tiger herself appears to the the only person capable of playing it as a result.[1]

History[edit]

Through unknown circumstances, the bassoon was placed in a mountain peak on the outskirts of Goha City. Tiger found the bassoon while honing her breath outside the city when a lightning bolt shattered the mountain, revealing the substrate-covered bassoon beneath it. Once Tiger blew into the bassoon, the strength of her breath shattered the substrate, restoring the bassoon to full working capacity.[1] As a result, Tiger decided to join the Music Club to hone her skill with wind instruments, believing that it would improve her breathing and subsequently her strength.[2]

Tiger used the bassoon periodically during her Rush Duel with Yuga Ohdo.[2] Tiger also made use of the bassoon to repel Caterpillio Elephantis from attacking the Road Laboratory, throwing it into the ground to stop Caterpillio's caterpillar track and dismantle it, while also repelling his Gohanium tools. Tiger made use of the bassoon during her Rush Duel with Caterpillio to stop herself from being blasted back by his attacks, and suspended herself simply by grasping the top while meditating.[1]
