Unknown Duelist |
Unknown Duelist is a non-playable Legendary Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. She cannot be unlocked, only appearing as an opponent. This is a video game depiction of Sera, a character from the movie Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, in her appearance as Prana in "TRANSCEND GAME".
She exclusively appears as an opponent during the special events Transcend Game and Tag Duel Tournament.

Description[edit]
During the early developmental stages of Duel Links, a Duelist's brain power coincided with a monster's power. So when the Plana - who had mental abilities that far exceeded those of normal people - infiltrated Duel Links, they quickly overwhelmed everyone. Even to this day, they repeatedly attack to disrupt the Duel Links system.

Dialogue[edit]
Character-specific[edit]
- Seto Kaiba (DSOD)
- When starting a Duel with Seto Kaiba (DSOD), the Unknown Duelist says "What you are doing is dangerous.", followed by "I can't warn you enough, Kaiba."
- When she wins the Duel, she says "You will never become the Pharaoh."
- When she loses the Duel, she says either "I tried to stop you from making a grave mistake." or "Sigh... I liked the style of this avatar."
Card-specific[edit]
- Monsters
- When the Unknown Duelist Summons "Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel", a cut-in frame of the Unknown Duelist's face briefly appears, and she announces "Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel!"
- Most of the time when the Unknown Duelist attacks with that monster, she announces "Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel attacks!", followed by "Boost Knuckle!"
- When the Unknown Duelist activates either of that monster's effects, she announces "Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel's effect activates!"
- Spells/Traps
- When the Unknown Duelist activates "Cubic Wave", she announces "I activate the Spell Card, Cubic Wave!"
- When the Unknown Duelist activates that card's effect, she announces "I banish Cubic Wave and Cubic monsters from my Graveyard!", followed by "For each Cubic I banish, your monster is neutralized!"
- When the Unknown Duelist activates "Cubic Mandala", she announces "I activate the Continuous Trap, Cubic Mandala!", followed by "Your monsters may revive, but they're neutralized!"
Trivia[edit]
- The Unknown Duelist's loss artwork is based on the manga panel from "TRANSCEND GAME (part 2)", when Sera's avatar "Prana" disappears after losing to Seto Kaiba.
- The Unknown Duelist is the only character in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links who has appeared in the manga but not any anime. However, her alter-ego, Sera, appeared in the movie The Dark Side of Dimensions.
