6225: Can "Appropriate" be activated when drawing by the effect of "Upstart Goblin"?

• The effect of "Upstart Goblin" resolves as one effect wherein you draw a card and afterwards recover your opponent's Life Points. The resolution does not end with drawing a card, so after "Upstart Goblin" resolves a face-down "Appropriate" cannot be activated. Also, if "Appropriate" has already been activated and is face-up on the field, then you draw two cards after resolving the effect of "Upstart Goblin".

6235: Is sending one card from the hand to the Graveyard an activation cost for "The Creator"?

• For "The Creator", sending one card in the hand to the Graveyard is done when the effect of "The Creator" resolves; it is not an activation cost.
• The card sent to the Graveyard by the effect of "The Creator" is sent to the Graveyard when resolving the effect. The monster to be Special Summoned is chosen when the effect of "The Creator" activates, and at this time card to be sent is not in the Graveyard, so if you send a monster to the Graveyard then you cannot choose to Special Summon that same monster.

• During the Standby Phase, "Burning Land" only inflicts damage to the Turn Player. It does not inflict damage to both players during the same Standby Phase.
